The owner of this company is the biggest cheater ever. Do not do business with him - you will get ripped off. Our air unit went out and we called him for an estimate - he came out and made suggestions and we agreed and he "fixed" it. But he didn't fix it - he said "oh, well you are going to have to get a whole new unit" so I paid for unnecessary repairs before having to replace the whole unit. Our second opinion guy said that just by looking at our unit he could tell it needed replaced (I did not tell him what the first guy did or said) because there was "green slime" and that was an industry known problem that could not be repaired. Then I told him what happened with Mr. Cox -- he was shocked that someone would take such advantage of a customer. When we told Mr. Cox that we would not be using him for the repair of the unit he tried adding a bunch more charges to our bill for "reimbursement" and upon further investigation he was attempting to charge us for things he never paid for (shipping was free for him and delivery, I called the main place in lexington to confirm and even had them sign a paper) all in all -- he is a real a**hole. read more

We had a warranty install about 1.5 years ago, Climate solutions were Lennox dealers then and that is the unit we got. Well 1.5 years later the compressor went out and guess what, the part is covered but not the labor now. We just got hit with a $700.00 electric bill and we tried for two days to get Climate solutions to return our call. When they finally answered our call they informed us it would be a $150.00 service call. Every time we have dealt with whoever answers their service calls, they have been very rude. I would recommend you look elsewhere for someone to install or service your unit. read more

I called because we are needing a new heat pump. I got a call back from Tammy who wanted me to provide the information I got from another company rather than sending some one out (She must value their competitors opinion). She said she would call back the next day with a quote. Here it is a week later and still no follow up call. Apparently they don't want or need the business. After reading some of the other reviews I guess we're better off they didn't call back. Still a lack of respect for potential customers. read more

Climate Solutions Heating and Cooling in Mt. Sterling has replaced my unit and would not come within the 90 days to fix my BRAND NEW unit that they installed, although it was under their warranty/guarantee for 90 days. It stopped blowing cool air within two weeks!! Weak labor warranty on a new unit to begin with and they would not honor it until I threatened litigation. Owner came out and apologized for the shoddy work (my basement had pipes coming down from the ceiling cutting out usable area in my mostly finished basement and I was told installation was incorrect.) After some repairs and replacement of the TXV my unit worked for a week and winter arrived. After winter the unit did not work. Climate Solutions would not come out, of course, and I had another company come check the unit only to be told that the TXV installed was incorrect and was causing the system not to work which also voids my brand new unit's warranty! So I have a brand new unit that does not work and is no longer covered under warranty because the installation was incorrect and this company will not correct their mistake. I am now seeing the DHBC (Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction) Division of HVAC to file a formal complaint, have an inspection and this can lead to fines and penalties once the inspection verifies that this unit was installed incorrectly. I have not had any repairs made due to the complication of a new unit with no warranty and I am now approaching a year without this unit working. Thankfully we have a department that can inspect and hold this company responsible for their terrible workmanship and I will pursue their liability on voiding the warranty on my new unit and replacing it. read more

Recently contracted with Climate Solutions to replace our old heat pump and furnace with a new Lennox 16.5 SEER, four ton two stage heat pump and a new Lennox furnace/air handler. Can't say enough great things about the deal we got, the installation process or the after care we have received. Would highly recommend this company for any HVAC work you may be contemplating.
