They not only completed our remodel they built the custom cherry fireplace mantle. We love our living room and it's exactly what we were looking for to update our home. They've also repaired our garage door and surround when our son drove the family van into the garage frame. Joseph and his crew are easy to work with, clean thoroughly and are professional in their behavior.

He didn't show up for the initial appt., and rescheduled for the following week- even then he was an hour late. We discussed the repairs and he said he would email an estimate. After hearing nothing for weeks, I reached out to him and he said he would have it by the end of the week. The following week, I reached out again and finally received an estimate. From there on, I would hear NOTHING from him unless I initiated contact. Then the excuses started.. I dealt with this man for three and a half months, with him ghosting me the entire time. At no time did he ever fulfill a promise, or meet a deadline. The last straw was him AGAIN failing to provide information on the repair. That was Feb. 25, and, you guessed it, CRICKETS! I have to wonder what part of "Do It Right" applies to his business.

Overall a disappointment. We have a very large remodel planned for our home, in Bristoll, TN…read more Rather than contract the whole project, we wanted to see how Home Pros would do on a small portion. So we first contracted to have the pop corn ceiling removed. The people doing the sheet rock work were lighting fast, but attention to detail was, in our opinion lacking, leaving us with electrical boxes for lights partially covered over, sloppy edges at wall lines, etc. That led to several days of different workers arriving to correct problems that had to be addressed from earlier work. While the young men doing the work were personable, managing a project from a distance via, for the most part phone conversations, and the continual change of workers was frustrating. With the majority of the project done, we simply paid the remainder of our contract and asked them to leave. We will finish the project ourselves as we have substantial construction experience. While we have no doubt this job would have eventually been completed, it is our opinion that this company has grown too fast and the problem is systemic and rests with management taking on more work than they can handle. We would suggest daily onsite visits by the project manager to supervise the persons doing the work would be helpful. Having the persons making mistakes correct their mistakes would also be beneficial. As it is, poor quality work is being rewarded as it has no consequence. Finally providing workers with all the tools or equipment they need before arriving on the job would increase efficiency. The end result in our case is Home Pros left an estimated $50,000 worth of additional work on the table.

Wow!!! Ron sets the bar for best experience ever with a contractor. We purchased a vacation home…read morein Sunriver and walked through it together with Ron, decribing our vision and leaning on his expertise. We love that he approaches his business as a partnership with the client, offering design, material and labor options. Ron always shares the pros/cons for an informed decision and is extremely communicative so we always knew how things were tracking. The vision was delivered, including some added scope, on the agreed timeline and price structure. So unreal! Here are some specifics on our project. We decided to replace all of the flooring, build a new kitchen island, create a focal fireplace facade and paint the entire interior. Ron knew we intended for this to be a short-term rental as well so every step along the way he made recommendations of materials that would accomplish the look we wanted to achieve and also provide the durability necessary for renters. We personally wanted to dedicate several weekends towards doing some of the improvements ourselves and Ron was amazing about embracing that and working through the schedule together. During those weekends I often found new projects that slightly expanded the scope, which Ron always accommodated. Since everything is a handshake with him, there was never a mess of change order agreements; he just adjusted his work plans and reflected the new work in the billing. Working with Ron from about 200 miles away felt like we were working with a next door neighbor. He has become our friend through this process and still holds a key to our home. In fact, we recently contacted him for a small outdoor project that he readily squeezed into his already busy schedule and we are so pleased to know that piece of our home is now up to code and build to withstand the Central Oregon elements. Bravo Ron!

For example, I was very adamant that I wanted the new wall's texture to match and he said it wasn't an issue. He didn't spray the wall texture as asked. The floor on the shower he installed was not level or smooth and required a lot of work before we could tile it. Lastly, his team left SO much garbage all over the house. Half filled coffee cups mainly, some with tobacco. One of his workers pooped in the toilet and didn't flush! We were not living in the home at the time and came back to the house 2 months later to find no less than a dozen moldy, nasty coffee cups littering our home, garage and yard. Not to mention the toilet, which needed several flushes and an obscene amount of cleaner. We tried to reach out to him to have one last thing installed (which we thankfully did not pay for) and he just never showed up to do it, despite telling us several times that he would. I really wanted to like his work and his business. If he had shown the respect and care for the job we wanted, we would have given him a lot more work too, just overall disappointing

We hired a qualified contractor to correct these dangerous safety issues and they will attest to this. A rotted/termite-destroyed stud was not repaired or replaced. Their drywall and Christa's painting skills were sad - nails were popping out; an electrical outlet was covered; and new drywall was not sanded smooth or primed before a very thin and uneven coat of paint was sprayed on the bare drywall. We sanded and repainted every single wall ourselves. Half-way through the project, we sent an email to CDS outlining the remaining items to be completed and/or corrected. They replied, in part: "... we are not preforming up your standards ... find another contractor..." We did. We have photos and video clips of CDS's poor workmanship to backup this review.
