Receptionist was polite and checked us in right away. Dr. Alba is amazing! She attended to my mother and was thorough in her examination and my mom's needed treatment. The office manager (Mariana I believe) was helpful and very kind in explaining their office procedures. While the wait can be long depending on time of arrival, it's no different than other clinics or urgent cares. Overall our experience was good! read more

DR. Lucy is the best! She has always the time and the patience of explaining whats going on. I still remember how i met her, i had a pain for more than 6 years and when i came to her she just gave me the right medication and it just went away. Just sad because we had an awesome nurse and very nice staff excluding the actual DOCTOR. She refused to let me sit in one of the rooms with my husband but didn't say anything to the male and female couple that went in together. When we saw her in the actual exam room she did not want to fully answer my questions about my husbands diagnosis; this made us extremely uncomfortable. She was very clearly uncomfortable assisting us. This kind of blatant homophobia is extremely unacceptable and we will be taking the appropriate actions to report it. read more

I went in for a prescription fill and received great care from the physician Stephanie Beltran-Padilla. However, it seems this clinic was not aware of the new mandate in California which says most prescriptions can only be sent in to pharmacies electronically. Unfortunately, I myself wasn't aware until I tried having my prescription filled and was turnt away. Between 8:30am and 11:00am I called the clinic 8 times before getting a hold of somebody. I was told that the pharmacy had to fax them a request for an electronic prescription. After being at the pharmacy and being part of the conversation the technician had with Mariana, the employee here at Clínica Mi Pueblo, the tech had to inform her once again about this new California mandate and even had to specify that they should have been aware of AB-2789 because medical facilities have been receiving reminders for months so they could begin preparing for the change. As somebody who struggles with depression, anxiety, and bpd, this is a life and death situation. Instead of taking the complaint seriously, I kept being told to look around because they were busy and that it was the reason the phones weren't being answered. Not to mention that the pharmacy had already left a voicemail and called them multiple times before finally being connected. Wilmington is a tight-nit community and I'm not only disappointed; I am saddened by this. So many people in our low-income community suffer from mental health and we look for helps at local clinics and it is a cry for help sometimes. To try and make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else without the proper disclosures, I have been in contact with the California Medical Board. This situation was very easily avoidable and I hope nobody else has this struggle. read more

I've been suffering from anxiety attacks for over a week. I called this clinic to see if they could see me in short notice since I was in the area. The receptionist told me to come on over. I got there and filled out paperwork and explained to her what was happening to me. Within ten minutes of waiting, the receptionist and perhaps a nurse called me and told me that they wouldn't see me, explaining that they don't prescribe NARCOTICS there!!! I explained to the second person what my symptoms were and that my therapist had suggested Lexapro as an option. Since I don't have medical insurance and don't have a primary doctor, I'd figured a clinic like this could handle that prescription for this antianxiety medicine that is NOT addictive NOR is a NARCOTIC!!! It's really difficult to seek medical attention these days without any healthcare. Luckily, I was able to walk-in here without appointment, receive a diagnosis & medication with an easy $30 fee to see a doctor + the cost of medication. Wait time was not long at all. Only thing I was inconvenienced with was their order to come back for a follow-up without mention that it would cost $10. Really good place to see a doctor. I go here when ever I want to see a doctor quickly. The doctor I saw was really cool and recommended me some good vitamins that I didn't know I needed. They have helped me now that I'm taking them. The clinic is very clean with lots of space. I was in and out in about 1 hour, and I talked to the doctor for a long time so that was good. They also give you all the medications there at the clinic, so you don't have to go to another pharmacy. They charge $30 to see the doctor. They also have other clinics in cities like Highland Park and Anaheim. My only complaint is that there parking is kind of crappy. Check this place out read more

I went to this clinic with lower back pain, i paid 300 dollars for the doctor to refer me to a urologist because according to him my kidney stones were very serious... he even mentioned the word cancer, for a week i was mortified and couldnt sleep but i wasnt in pain but very very stressed... i went to another dr for a second opinion, and she laughed, she said i just needed to drink lots of water, ran blood tests, turns out my kidneys are in good condition thank God... how hard was it for the other doctor to do the same instead of referring me to a urologist? Please! Please! Don't go here for ANY medical Attention. I took my mother here today because she's been having ear pain and a swollen eye. When she checked in the lady demanded her give MY number and then they DIDNT actually check her they had someone go in and just say she didn't have an infection and said she has COVID! It seemed to me that they didn't even have the right patient because they told her she has COVID that's why she keeps fainting!?! When she never mentioned anything! All she said was ear pain and her eye! They wanted to call an ambulance for her because she has covid. To top it off one nurse said they'll just charge her the consultation and the ear drops but another nurse comes in with syringes saying the doctor said she needs it so she'll be charged for those too. My mom asked the nurse what they were for but the nurse said she had no clue, my mom responded "it's probably because of my ear ache" and nurse said " oooh yeah for that" my mom got so scared because she could tell she was lying! My mom isn't one to get scared for anything but she come out running! She felt so unsafe there! My mom didn't even get her drops she just paid for her consultation and bolted out and I don't blame her. If I had gone in there with her it would've been a different story. My son and myself woke up terribly sick! Someone told my mom about this place so we came. I don't regret it at all!!!! Best facility ever!!!! My son was burning up crying and I was burning up. They were so patient with us, the female Dr. who saw us was so awesome!!!! She tried her very best to make my son feel better by letting him listen to his heart and by letting him help her. She was so sweet and honest! The male nurse and female nurse that did our vitals were also so great and positive! The whole facility was so clean and looked very nice! All the staff was great. I wish I knew your names to be able to personally thank you guys! But I was so out of it, I don't even know how I filled out the paper work lol. 2 injections and 4 hours later and I feel 95% better!!!! You guys are the best!!!
