I would not recommend making an appointment with Dr. Vissing I scheduled and appointment for myself to establish a new primary care physician Dr. Vissing came in, read from the history in my pre-registration form, did a physical, and asked if I had any issues and if I wanted bloodwork. No attempt to establish any type or patient/physician relationship. I described the only issue I have been having, and he prescribed me an anti-depressant because it would also help with my symptoms, although I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms associated with depression. Understandable that medicine can be used for treatment of other things. Totally irresponsible to prescribe me a new medication that is known to have side effects that can alter your brain chemistry and then tell me to schedule a follow-up in ONE YEAR. We've been with Clinical Associates since the mid '90's. I like my primary care physicians and the other specialists I've seen at the site. However, over the last 6 months, I have experienced MANY office communication problems. This is across the board with specialists and primary care physicians. The providers' staff DO NOT return phone calls or respond to messages. I had to physically walk into the back of my primary doctor's office, (without an appointment, and no one at the front desk) to get a referral for PT after calling four times with the request. The nurse was concerned she hadn't gotten the messages, and I showed her my call log to verify the contacts. This is just one example, we have had three other concerning encounters involving cancelled appointments (on their end), records not being forwarded to specialists outside the site, and an inability to schedule or reschedule appointments as no one returns our calls. Primary doctors and nurse practitioners retire or resign and there are no replacements, the existing doctors are stretched thin. We unfortunately, after 30+ years, will be looking for a location. read more

I had to change doctors because my primary doctor at Hopkins left. For several reasons, I decided to look elsewhere and Clinical Associated kept popping up when asking for recommendations. I am so very glad I gave them a call. The staff is professional, friendly and very thorough. It definitely was not my experience at my former physician's office, which had an assembly line feel. Here I felt listened to by the doctor and didn't get the feeling she had to rush to the next patient in the next room. read more

Dr Pressel is more than awesome. We feel blessed to have him as our doctor. The young lady at the receptionist window was very friendly. Unfortunately, dealing with the young woman, Kayla, today was not good. She was quite snippy and my feeling is when you work in healthcare, you might want to be more pleasant and cut back on the dirty looks. There is a young lady that works there whose name is Amanda that at one time was pleasant. But again, working in a doctor's office, you need to be nice. read more

We've seen Dr. Shorofsky for over 20 years. Excellent doctor. BUT his receptionist who answers the phone apparently loves to put people on hold indefinitely, I guess hoping they'll give up and leave a message. She is the receptionist for only two doctors, but I've waited on hold for 10, 20, 30 minutes. They need to fire her and hire someone who is willing to do the job. read more

Very small ASC. Nasty front office staff, They do not validate parking like the PT does in the building. Love Dr Rozen and came here only because he relocated his practice to this location. Make sure you ask for all copies of documents/ brochures you are required to sign/acknowledge, it's a requirement for all health care providers to provide these documents, especially the transfer policy using 911. read more

It's impossible to speak to a person on the first call -- always requires a call back, usually a day later. More importantly, needed a script for bloodwork and after multiple phone calls, it allegedly was ordered. Met with the doctor 5 days later, after blood was drawn, and the script hadn't been sent after all! Doctor advised he would get it taken care of. After multiple phone calls four days later, we learn still no script was sent and blood was drawn for nothing. Complete waste of time, blood and money to deal with Clinical Associates. Find another cardiologist. read more

If you can get in to see Dr. Satterfield then DO IT! She has been my doctor for over 15 years, I adore her. She is patient, kind and actually takes the time to listen to you and never makes you feel rushed. Her staff however, is a different story. Her MA's are nice enough but trying to get a message to her, or get someone on the phone without having to leave several messages is hard. read more

Front desk staff definitely do not have the personalities to be receptionists. They just sit there and socialize loudly with each other and at one point, they were talking rudely about a patient that had left. After I had been sitting there for half an hour, I went up to the desk and asked what the hold up was. They had blacked my name out on the sign in sheet without calling me up to check in, even though I was sitting right there and they could see me sitting there. Once I got called to the back, the office space is very old and outdated. Dr. Mohammed left much to be desired. He definitely wasn't the friendliest and he answered a phone call in the middle of the exam. I won't be returning. read more

They have some good specialists. But I dropped them as primary care. They are too stuck in old model sad to say- can take two days or more to get seen by your primary for sick visit, they don't have standardized web portal for appointments, prescriptions, doc questions, med records. Other problem- they only have one of each specialty, some of which are located only in one area (Say only Reisterstown for ENT but you are regular at Towson office). Their docs are all aging too- I've been going there for just under thirty years. It's nice to have such long term relationships - but docs that were 30 or 40 then are 60 or 70 now- and the age can show; office hours getting more limited, seeing less patients, etc. Still really like my dermatologist there- Dr. Pham, he rules!; the gastro guy Dr. Corkum is good, cardio Dr. Salmon good too; really like the ENT, too. ENT and Dermatology are actually two of my most favorite docs ever! Sadly I don't see them existing for another decade- those that don't retire will likely get fully absorbed into a Sinai mega-center similar to what Mercy has been doing. read more

Making my appointment was easy; it goes downhill from there. they don't understand how prescription refills work. they never order the correct number of pills and i end up paying a full copay for half a prescription. I called to try and get this resolved and when i finally get someone, to turned out to be the receptionist calling me back. She starts discussing my medical history with is none of her business. Save yourself a lot of frustration and go somewhere else (unless you want to live a very bad Saturday Night Live skit). read more
