Yesterday morning I called to schedule grooming appointments for our dogs. My first call went to a message stating they were either experiencing a high call volume or were closed. I called back 3 more times over the next couple of minutes, but no one answered. I had 2 meeting coming up and would not be available if I left a message After waiting about 10 minutes, I called again and someone answered. I heard "Hello" and that the call was being recorded. I asked if there were any grooming appointments available next week. The manager immediately responded by asking if I was the person who had just called multiple times. I said yes, and before I had a chance to explain that I was simply trying to get through to schedule an appointment, he told me that calling repeatedly was rude and that I would not be receiving any services from them. He then hung up on me. I was surprised by the response and attempted to call back twice to clarify that I was not trying to be rude, but my calls were not answered. Later, my wife called and spoke with the same manager. He stated that he was with a customer and that I should have known that repeatedly calling was rude. I had assumed this was a business line with multiple lines, but we later learned it is actually a cell phone, and I assume he doesn't know that you can silence them. My wife asked to have the owner contact her to discuss the situation, but more than a day later we have still not received a response. Based on this experience and the way the situation was handled, we will not be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend this business to others.

After we dropped them off, they spent time bonding with him and playing his favorite game, fetch. They took him for daily walks and played with him. They also sent us pictures and updates. I couldn't be more than happy! When we came to pick up our dog, he was happy to see us but now that he's home, I think he wants to go back! Overall, the owners were wonderful and sweet and took all of our concerns with our dog seriously. They went above and beyond to not only make us feel comfortable but our dog as well! We have 2 Mini-Australian Shepherds and one is very fear reactive as he was attacked on trails many times as a young puppy. We had other trainers tell us our male dog would never live a normal life and could never be around other dogs or children. Guiding Canines took the time to understand our dogs and create a meticulous training plan! They simulated real life situations since we had a baby on the way with noisy toys, crying dolls, strollers... the WORKS! We are so grateful for them! Our dogs did really well with the arrival of our son thanks to Guiding Canines! We stayed in contact with them and just moved to the East Coast. We were so excited to be near Guiding Canines again! They have taken care of our dogs and setup a follow-up training schedule while we get our house settled. They're extremely flexible but always keep the dogs best interest at the forefront. Recently, they helped facilitate a vet visit for one of our pups to get checked out. I highly recommend this team because they are truly phenomenal! We are forever grateful for them for allowing our dog to live a "normal life"!

There aren't many animals more adorable than pet rabbits and guinea pigs. In years gone by I've owned both. But as a word of caution to potential rabbit and guinea pig buyers: Both of these animals are high maintenance! And I'm not referring to money. They produce waste very rapidly! I'm not going to get more graphic than that but I hope you understand my meaning! I read the previous Yelp reviews and they are not very flattering! If he was stressed/not handling boarding well they should have just called me & I would have picked him up & figured something else out. They had no idea what his medical history was (besides vaccine records) & medicated him without permission, I am insanely lucky that he was fine after whatever it was passed through his system, but they are going to kill a beloved pet doing this kind of bs. I love supporting local businesses, but this one needs to be shut down.
