I stopped in on Thursday to inquire about blending my gray grow out and a cut. The lady that helped…read moreme took my number and said she had the perfect lady. I received a text from someone offering different appt options. I chose Saturday at 1:30. I had long low mid back length. I've been growing my gray for 6 months and needed blending and had saved several collar bone/long lop/bob styles that I wanted. I was so excited. I took before pics in the car. Arrived early, showed the stylist what I wanted, explained thoroughly. She went to cutting. Kept saying she was giving me a precision cut and layers. Said the way she did it was a process. Cutting length first, then long layers, etc. when she made the first "layer cut" I asked then as I didn't understand. She told me to just wait. She kept cutting. Another lady came and she dusted me off and took off my cape. I said oh no! It's not stacked and layered correctly. I said it's too full here and she grabbed the cape and just started cutting length. Not in sections just cutting. She said let me grab her and we can cut more. I went to my car to wait and got my first glimpse. Mind you I have wavy hair and she dry cut me. It looks frizzy due to my texture (NOT DAMAGED) because she used a comb while dry cutting. Think brushing curls. It poofs and frizzes. I immediately cried in my car and took pics. Waited for the lady she was servicing to come out and went back in and asked how much for the cut. She told me $55 for cut color and style. I asked how much for the cut only. She said $35. During I was tearing up and she asked what was wrong. I said it isn't what I asked for and it was chopped and gapped and overall shocking. She said coke sit back down and she'd fix it. I declined. I left my cash in her station and left in tears. It was/ is so short I was afraid of what I'd have left had I sat back down. I have cried all weekend. I came home and washed it to see what I was dealing with. Due to the length and chops and whacks and gaps, I cannot style it. (See pics below). The following business day (today Tuesday) I stopped back by to speak with the lady "who had the perfect lady", I walked in and someone different was in her spot. Then the stylist who butchered me walked out. She said she had a feeling I'd come back. I explained I was there looking to speak with the owner. She informed me she had the right to refuse service. I stated I wasn't there for service I was there to show her what she referred me to and the disaster. She had the audacity to insinuate my hair looked shorter than when I left!!!!! I lost it. She refunded me and told me had I sat back down, on Saturday, that she could have fixed it. THERE IS NO FIXING IT unless I go shorter. I have two different cuts on the left and right. I have gaps and chunks missing in the back. Idk what in the world. I have sat home crying over the weekend at the worst chop job and this woman actually started to act like I had gone somewhere else. I have time stamped photos in the parking lot of immediately after! I have 30 min after that of freshly washed time stamped. I have time stamped photos of when that dried and I was sending my bff hysterical. I cannot believe the audacity! Not only do I NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON, I will be reporting her to the state board. I swear I have NEVER!
