Never can get through to their office.. they never call back when you leave a message. I'm not sure who does the hiring in this office but the need more help if they can't get things done in a timely manner. read more

Despite the negative reviews here, I think clipper cardiovascular is a good practice. I always get what I need. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. The doctors are very good, as are the nurse practitioner. On the downside, The front desk staff feels disorganized and sometimes doesn't call back. You have to often call more than once. read more

Unbelievable wait times. Horribly run and no type of empathy or even human kindness coming from the front desk or the physicians. I went over the course of 5 months. Called multiple times for random questions. They never answer ever! They never call back! Ever! When I asked for my physical records, I was told multiple times I could not have them even though they are mine. When I was about to get the law involved, they released them to me. This office needs a complete change of doctors and management. I am still in utter disappointment on how I was treated as a patient. I wrote my own review on their cardiologist. Dr. Kireyev. I would read it before going. Just look him up. Unprofessional in every way. They want to make money and that is it. Sad establishment. Shame on them. read more

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! Three months after being told by one of the cardiologists that I needed a CTscan, they still have not gotten the approval from my insurance because after it was denied the first time the doctor never scheduled the peer to peer review. The office manager told me that they have bugged him over and over again. She also told me he would call me and he never did. 90% of the time when you call you get an answering machine. You rarely get a call back. After almost two months of waiting for the office to even put in the request for the test, I was told that "I have 50 other patients that i need to get authorizations for". I even reached out to my PCP who referred me there and they tried reaching out to the office on my behalf. Still nothing. Don't waste your time with this practice! read more

They have always been professional and taken good care of me. I feel the bad reviews were unfair.

Trying to call and leave messages to call me back was a joke. I explained tactfully what help I needed from the front office, one person was sarcastic and rude. The office seems disorganized and unmanaged. I had an appointment booked for over a week, with a call from the receptionist confirming the appointment. Today, two hour notice they needed to change the appointment because I was seeing the WRONG Cardiologist to go over my Stress test results, REALLY! Since it has been a unhappy experience for me I had already made an appointment with a new cardiologist. read more

This place is TERRIBLE. I am not one to write negative reviews, as I am aware of how it can affect a business, but this practice is so poorly run that I feel like this is the only way to get through to them. DISCLAIMER: My experience with the actual doctor was good. Very compassionate cardiologist. But the front desk is an unbelievable mess: rude, made multiple mistakes, lost documents, didn't fax things when they said they would... generally one of the most incompetent offices I've ever run across. One biggie: they double booked me with another patient for an appointment that I had been waiting weeks for... and when I came in to have the appointment (which I took work off for, found a babysitter, etc) they rescheduled me for another date which they then cancelled because of ANOTHER computer error. When they made mistakes, which were clearly their fault, they never apologized. Quite the opposite: both women at the front desk were gruff and rude. From a patient perspective... all of this is not only frustrating and disappointing, but it's scary too: it's no fun to have multiple appointments dropped and/or pushed weeks back when you are waiting on results for a heart issue. Again: the doctor was very nice... when I finally got to see him. But the rudeness, mistakes, and general incompetence makes this place a miserable business. If you want a smoothly-run, careful, professional experience...this is not the place. read more

My first visit to this practice today. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and friendly and I really felt like people were concerned about me and my heart health. I left the office feeling like I had been heard - a much different experience than when I went to another cardiologist. Thanks to everyone. read more

One of the nurses was hitting on me during my visit and the doctor was talking about politics. Im 24 with a heart condition, I don't want to get hit on by a nurse or have my doctor talking sh** about politics. Wildly unprofessional. read more

I went to my appointment and upon signing in, was told they made a mistake in the computer and booked me an appointment for the following year even though they had written on the card for today's date. I was told to wait and that they were "sorry". I waited 15 minutes (I was the only person in the waiting area) and my name was called. "I'm sorry the Dr Wen is busy and cannot see you today, we realize you took the day off from work and it's our mistake but he cannot see you..." This is the front office's mistake and the doctor still should have seen me. This is unprofessional and I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Your life is too short and important to have to deal with this. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone! Extremely unprofessional. Dr was more concerned about leaving on time than he was with me. he was yelling out instructions as he was walking out of the door of the building. After all, it was a Friday. I waited 1 1/2 hours to be seen and was NEVER updated or given an explanation as to why I was kept waiting. I has two tests scheduled for today and had to take time off from work. I was called at 8:30 am to be told that the echo cardio tech had called in sick and they would have to reschedule my appt. There was no back up or call list. Unheard of in such a large practice. I was not able to get another appt for 1 1/2 weeks. At the very convenient time of 2pm no less. Their last appt is at 3:30. Heaven forbid any Dr in that office works past 5pm. My primary care Dr calls me at home at 7:30pm if I leave a message for him. This is supposed to be a specialist's office. I beg to differ. Go to Lahey. read more

Dreadful, unprofessional, disrespectful physician's specialty office. The male physician's assistant is delighted to involve himself in office gossip with all the women and he should be fired. I was flabbergasted to witness his surprisingly immature, grade school behavior. There is a serious confidentiality issue with these people and he is the instigator. No one should feel this way, as I do, about his/her physician and office personnel. Apparently, the H.I.P.A. laws are unimportant here - as are the comfort and care of their "least favorite" patients. Dr. Ghiasuddin is not thorough and can be as cold as ice. He's a pretty nice fellow and smiles when greeting patients, but his unwillingness to spend sufficient time with patients with his eye on the door is quite remarkable. Ghiasuddin fails in his training as a complete and thorough cardiology specialist. I left this practice immediately (soon after joining) after some further investigation and hearing from frustrated nurses at Anna Jaques Hospital about Clipper Cardiology patient complaints, office staff ridiculing patients, confidentiality breaches, picking "favorites" and "least favorites" and the oblivious physicians who will not respond to or control these complaints. It's an egregious situation for those patients who sincerely believe they are receiving the best of care with respect to their heart disease. I wasn't taking another moment of risk and, for all my medical needs, I've very happily moved on to Core Cardiology Physicians in Exeter who are fabulous, extremely thorough, very caring and kind, and whose offices employ the best of the best medical professionals. My new Cardiologist was educated at Yale. What a lovely, caring man. I am completely relieved, to say the very least, to have finally moved out of and away from the frightening trappings of my Newburyport physicians and into the hands of well-educated people in a safe, friendly, respectful, top-class environment that best describes the medical professionals at Exeter and Hampton, NH. I should have moved on this a long time ago. read more
