Not a huge place but large enough to contain the larger crowds on busier days. While they do provide umbrellas, bring your own lawn/beach chairs as they only have plastic deck chairs. Watermont has a lot of activities for families, kids and adults. Parties, movie nights, etc. Swim team seems to have a great following (we're not involved), as every time there is a swim meet there all of the roads get bunged up with parked cars. We often go there when they open, before lunch, and have pizza or something like that delivered. Makes for a nice early afternoon visit.

The gym is rarely utilized, which I love for a focused and quiet workout. The locker rooms are nothing to write home about but I do not come here to spend more time than needed in the locker room. Glen Burnie Park Swim Club is the definition if a family swim club. It is located in a quiet…read moreneighborhood next to a basketball and tennis court. The guards know all of the members and are always friendly and fun for the kids. My children always have fun playing with kids of all ages in the pool, going off the diving board, and on the playground. The swim team is a family, the kids learn so much more than how to swim and the parents become your friends. They have raft nights, movie nights, and other fun events. There is no place I'd rather spend my summers.

What was once a welcoming, well-run club now feels like an organization that has completely abandoned the basic standards and values it was built on. The level of unprofessionalism is astonishing. Staff members appear poorly trained, disorganized, and often completely clueless when it comes to handling even simple issues. The kitchen area is frequently dirty and poorly maintained, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and management. The overall atmosphere has deteriorated dramatically, and the incompetence on display is honestly shocking. Most importantly, the club is no longer worth the money members are paying. Whatever management changes were made behind the scenes have clearly had a negative impact on the member experience. Long-time members who remember how this club used to operate will immediately notice the decline. This season has been a major disappointment, and unless significant improvements are made, I have little doubt that these decisions will continue driving away loyal members.

The baby pool has plenty of action, beach access, overhead fountains at knee depth, shallow for the not bravery swimmers, a diving board, lap lanes, and a jacuzzi. It isn't often that crowded either.
