I had called Close 2 You Storage in Pittston in a panic. Backstory- We had already rented at another local storage place near Moosic, for the summer we had to move our son out of his college apartment for the summer. We received a call from the owner that somehow someone put their belongings in our climate controlled inside unit. These people placed a lock on out init and the owner somehow "couldn't" reach them. We were appalled this happened in a facility that claimed to be secure! Do you not have cameras? The owner was reluctant to cut the lock off and remove what was in our unit that we paid for! He basically told us, since we didn't immediately put a lock on the unit, we were out of luck. Did I mention our unit was larger than the one these folks rented? He wanted to rent us another unit at another location. No way was that happening! We were not going to rent at a place that didn't pay attention to who was coming in and out of their facility. Now where to go? Fast foward to Close 2 You Storage in Pittston! I spoke to a wonderful young man, I believe his name was Kurt. He luckily had one unit left in the size we needed. He was courteous, helpful and assured me that our unit was secure and that what had happened at the other storage place would not happen there! He even went as far as to give us a lock! Did I also mention the unit was less money! We were able to move our son's items into the unit last weekend. The unit and building was clean. So glad I chose this place when I needed additional storage. Very clean and well lit. I always felt safe going in and out alone even during the evening if I needed to retrieve something. There's also a nice bathroom in the main building, which comes in handy when moving items for hours. The owners are only a phone call or text message away and were always very helpful and super nice. I won't hesitate to use this facility again when I have additional storage needs and will definitely refer them friends/family. read more

You can't find a better place to store your things, or your vehicle or trailer for that matter. The owners are friendly and helpful - there's a ramp or a raised platform for ease of unloading, there's a wheeled cart to get your boxes to your locker easier, 24/7 access with your own code on the keypad, a restroom, and a sign on the door with a phone number saying that they're easily accessible if you have an issue. I've had outside storage in the past, but here I have peace of mind when it's raining or snowing or below zero that not only are my items inside but they're in controlled temperatures. All my items, including electronics, are in the same condition they were in when I put them there six years ago! read more
