We had 3 walls of bookcases installed in my husband's study by Closet Factory. The process was easy and the results are outstanding. We visited the showroom and were helped by Jill. She gave us lots of samples to take home and even toured us through the factory. We happened to meet the owner, Jeff, that day as well. Both were just solid, friendly, knowledgeable people. We made an appointment for Brittani to come to our house. In less than an hour, Brittani took all the measurements and we came up with a design. Our installation date was less than a month later. Zak came out and spent a full day, probably 11 hours, on the installation. The study is on the third floor, so he must have been exhausted with all the trips up and down. The end result is great and just what my husband wanted. Zak is a real craftsman. We would definitely recommend Closet Factory for any project. read more

They have the coolest organization options. The receptionist is so kind and helpful. I walked in without an appointment, and the kind person at the reception desk (shucks, I forgot her name) greeted me with enthusiasm. Showed me around and scheduled Barb, the organizer, to come visit me and measure for bar options. This location is mainly a warehouse for their merchandise, but they have a few displays they can show you to give you an idea of their products finished look. I would have loved to see a "look book" that had pictures of actual finished similiar jobs completed by the staff at this location. I was very impressed by the receptionist's knowledge and professionalism. She handled an unexpected customer with kindness, gratitude, and the best customer service demeanor that I have seen in a long time. Bravo! read more

I designed a custom closet for my custom-built home in 2014 with a talented designer here named Joyce. She did two master closets, all the other bedroom and office closets (3 more), and a gorgeous pantry with butcher-block counters and custom shelves and lighting. Amazing. A few years ago my pantry shelves were sagging and after a quick call, they arranged to have someone come over who completely removed them, re-attached them and secured them so they'll never come off now (he like triple attached them to studs) all at no cost as it was a warranty repair (5+ years later). Fast-forward to now, I'm selling that beloved home and building another with my husband. Of course I'm coming back! Joyce is no longer here, so this time I'm working with Jacinta who is also wonderful. We've designed two very detailed master bedroom closets and I'm completely thrilled with the design so far. We are planning for a March installation and they have been wonderful to work with, schedule, and come up with a payment plan while we're in the midst of new home building and planning. I don't believe people are aware that they can do so many things, custom bars, murphy bed solutions, offices, garage, pantry, etc. Basically if it has cabinets of some kind or storage, they can do it. And it is completely custom for your space with several options of color finishes, upgrades, lighting, etc. I highly recommend this office and this team. I contracted with Closet Factory in Virginia Beach, Va to build a wine bar. I created a rough draft of the plan. Lisa Scott from Closet Factory came to my house and measured the area we had in mind. She enhanced my vision with measurements and suggestions for improvements. Closet Factory's selections for cabinet finishes was extensive (I chose flat panel doors and cabinets and a trendy pattern) and Lisa was very helpful in the design and implementation. The project was ready for install 1 week early! The finishes and workmanship on the bar are terrific. I elected to purchase a quartz counter top from another local vendor (BBG Brazilian Best Granite) as Closet Factory does not install quartz. The wine bar top was prepared and ready for the quartz as part of the design, and everything fit together perfectly. Good value and great service. Would highly recommend. read more

This was a total waste of time. I was 30 minutes away from signing a contract yesterday with Closet Factory, Allyson S., and had even decided I was going to splurge and opt for the extra drawers when the designer let her personality get in the way. She responded with the below texts because apparently I said something that struck a nerve (maybe saying she's always rushed?). As you can see from the texts, I was going to go out of my way during a move, sale, and work to go to the factory just to make it work and also was going to make myself available anytime to meet. She was always so rushed every time we spoke like there was no time to help me with so many other clients (stated she has so many clients) and answer questions. She couldn't provide the example pictures promised Monday night but needed me to sign a contract by yesterday (Wednesday) without them. She sent a video of a closet example I already saw in pictures, one she said I wouldn't like because it would "look like a box." I informed her in the beginning I also had a consultation with California Closets and that seemed to be a sticking point with her coming prepared with "why they are better" and making me wait several days for a design then more to discuss again. However I waited because I didn't like the sales tactics of California closets (talked derogatory about closet factory) and Allyson was giving me more storage than them (for $1600 more, and without shaker fronts, etc). I didn't like that I couldn't visualize the closet (zoom session was line drawing only) like California Closets that actually shows you in 3d what it looks like and sends to you. Allyson couldn't share anything with me to review again (said proprietary) so I had to try to remember the look and what I wanted to add. Therefore, I just asked for some examples because I am a visual person and needed to "see it" or something like it for $7100!! She was supposed to send me some pictures of bump outs and something like my look (different countertops). She couldn't even provide me countertop selections to choose from (an image, brochure, etc.) It had to be done on zoom among the changes, review, etc but she only had a 30 minute window for that during my child's pickup which I was going to work around as I had for her other appointment. The only times we met were the initial consultation and 1 zoom session in which she only had limited time so it's not like I was so demanding of her time. I have now hired a professional organizer who designed my closet last night on the spot on easyclosets at a fraction of the cost. Even though I would have paid the extra to have a custom closet, she killed this sale with her attitude towards me and this project. Apparently she nor closet factory needs more customers. And when I'm a customer of something, I am a customer for life as you csn see from my 99% 5 star reviews on here. This is one of the very few negative reviews I have ever left. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because she was nice and not pushy at the initial consultation. read more

I had my master bedroom closet installed by Ronnie Wilson and I'm absolutely in love with how it turned out! My designer Denise House was so patient with me. Denise went through all sorts of options and scenarios to help me decide on the right features and configuration for my closet. Her recommendations was everything! I can't say enough good things about my installer Ronnie. When he arrived, he laid out the materials neatly. When Ronnie was finished he demonstrated an explained how everything was adjustable. Anyone who has lived in an old house understands how tight storage space can be. After hearing from a friend her positive experience with CF, I got in touch with them and was shortly connected with Carol Carruth. Carol spent the large part of a day at our home, listened to what we were looking for, and came up with a design and measurements. She even invited us to tour the VB location, which we did (it's pretty cool!) After a wait of a couple months, our storage systems were ready to be installed. Everything seemed fantastic during the sale and design of my projuct. Was told I would not pay till I was 100% happy with everything which sounded promising. Had to leave before they finished up to pickup my son and they said if anything needed adjustment call my sales agent. So...came home my cabinets were so high on 9 ft ceiling my husband at 5' 11 could not reach easily. No problem I called my sales rep did not get reply. Waited then called office, girl said they will call to schedule, never did. Called again got Tammy, her level of service did not match rhe 10k we had just spent with their company. Said $150 for them to come back. I was so insulted when she said we dont work for free....obviously they dont we had just spent over 10k within few months on two projects. We are builders and would have been great on going businesd for them, but nickle and diming customers that are spending good money with you is bad business practice. They lost a lot more than $150 or trip charge on us. read more

My son had the smallest bedroom in the house and I needed to make use of every inch. A Closet Factory designer came in, she listened to what I wanted to do and created the perfect space. It included everything --Drawers, Bookcase, Desk, Night Tables. It was so much more than I had dreamed! The selection of finishes were amazing too. It fit right in with my decor. The icing on the cake was the installation. It was perfectly executed in only one day. About a month later my son was jumping on the bed, fell over, grabbed the crown molding and ripped it off. Tamera made a beautiful design that matched and accelerated our vision. She made the process smooth, easy and trusting. The price didn't come off like too much considering what we ordered. You pay for what you receive. We felt that we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about from the first meeting and on. Installation was a dated time and they came, installed and made it look perfect. Sometimes ordering things like this can seem to be a hassle, overpriced or the worry of dealing with a builder.
