What stood out most was his problem-solving skills. He consistently looked for ways to save us money and he was flexible and professional while working through an extended timeline due to unexpected mold remediation. As with any major renovation, there were a few design details to work through, but Rodney ultimately brought our vision to life. The finished kitchen is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We're very happy with the result and would confidently recommend him to anyone taking on a complex remodel!

Rodney partnered with Quality Stone in Virginia Beach, and their service--from selection to installation--was superb. Rodney provided a very fair price and handled every detail, including removing the bar, relocating an outlet, replacing 3 other outlets and installing a new sink and faucet. He even suggested a beautiful backsplash tile and helped me replace a 15-year-old over-the-range microwave with a new Whirlpool at a great price. Rodney is incredibly reliable, punctual, and truly available seven days a week. I highly recommend Full Circle Kitchen and Bath and will definitely call them for out next project

My wife and I recently hired Progress Kitchen and Bath for a full master bathroom renovation in our…read morethree-story condo, which included a full Schluter waterproofing system, floor-to-ceiling porcelain tiles, and a new double vanity. While we are absolutely thrilled with the final look, there were a few minor bumps along the way that kept it from being a perfect 5-star experience. Here is the breakdown of our project: Design & Prep with Helen Huff Helen was fantastic from day one. We brought her inspiration photos of the aesthetic we were going for, and she immediately pulled porcelain tiles that perfectly matched and refined our vision. She offered creative layout solutions for the double vanity, the shower, and the niche. Throughout the material selection process, she was patient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable, even providing us with websites to browse on our own time. A massive bonus: Helen went above and beyond to ensure I had all the specific documentation my insurance company needed to process a related claim. Project Management with Justin Bici Justin was a stellar project manager. We were initially quoted 15-25 business days, but the team finished ahead of schedule in just 10 business days. Justin visited the site almost every day to ensure the job was on track, and he was incredibly responsive to all of my texts and calls. Every timeline he provided was met exactly as promised, and he offered a lot of great insight based on his experience. Even when the vanity sub-contractors did a mediocre job on the caulking, Justin informed me he would remediate the issue and would schedule someone to come out and fix it. Albert & the Crew & Technical Execution The technical execution of the shower itself is top-notch. The crew manager Albert clearly had years of experience and knew exactly how to handle and properly install the Schluter waterproofing system. The precision of the porcelain installation is beautiful--the cuts and edges are incredibly clean and precise. Seeing that floor-to-ceiling tile go up and the double vanity finally set in place was easily the absolute best moment of the project! Areas for Improvement (Why 4 Stars) Because our master suite is on the third floor, the crew stored their materials in our bedroom. While this made logical sense so they didn't have to carry things up and down the stairs constantly, we wish they had been more cautious. Unfortunately, we found a couple of chips in my wife's makeup vanity from materials being moved in and out of the room. Additionally, the post-renovation cleanup was lacking. We expected the floors to be restored to their pre-renovation condition, but we found scuffs on the floor that couldn't easily be removed with regular soap and water. The Verdict Helen, Justin, Albert and the tile crew delivered a beautiful, high-end bathroom. The design, project management, and tile expertise were exceptional. If the crew had been just a bit more careful with our personal furniture and the final site cleanup, this would be an easy 5 stars. I still highly recommend Progress Kitchen and Bath.

I would def recommend this company and my counter tops are beautiful!

When placing the order, I was told it would be ready within 2 weeks. At 2 weeks, I called and was told it would be another 2 weeks. (They didn't call me to let me know of any delays). Once again, I called them to find out the status, and once again, the countertops weren't there. Now, we're at 4 weeks for a 2 week order. My client is being patient, but they've got a torn apart kitchen. They're not exactly happy about this delay. We've already made a deposit to this company for half of the amount of the cost. They've given no reason for these delays. Once again, another 2 weeks goes by with constant phone calls by myself to them. Absolutely no communication FROM them. Finally, the counters are ready. BUT, no backsplashes yet....ARE YOU SERIOUS?????? Fine, at least the customer can use his kitchen. During this time, I have asked several times to speak to the owner/boss/manager and have been given several reasons of why I'm unable to, not in, fishing, etc. When going to pick up the counters, they weren't even all cut correctly. I could go on, but the long and short...A few days later, we finally got the backsplashes too. My customer had to wait a frustrating 2 months to get his counters finished and I have YET to hear back from this company boss. Oh, but the receptionist did say he approved $50 off the total bill........Yes, that number you see is the correct number of 0's. $50. He cost me about $400, plus the time, aggravation, and reputation, but he'll offer a whopping $50 for my time and the gas it cost me to make multiple trips to pick up the countertops. What a stand up guy.........NOT

At first, I was very impressed with his knowledge and agreed to numerous projects to be spread out…read morein 2 phases over a 2-3 month span after purchasing a house that needed some repairs and many updates. Phase 1 seemed to go well (later found issues on some areas to include deck board repairs that were nailed to absolutely nothing that I ended up fixing myself and later found I had to redo some of these areas as well as his staff put new boards over areas that clearly had major joist beam damage that they didn't even bother to let me know and also later found that a leak in a bathtub that was repaired wasn't properly repaired and had to have it redone later). Based on my initial observations, I agreed to add in an additional item of having him subcontract out some carpet flooring in several bedrooms and closets. The company he used did a good job and I said I'd consider having them do more flooring needs later. A couple months later I was ready for phase 2 of updates and was having a difficult time getting them scheduled. I also let him know I needed to get scheduled for the rest of my flooring before we finalized our move in. I let him know it was time sensitive and needed to be done within 1 month (before our final truckloads), which he said wouldn't be an issue. We eventually got phase 2 of repairs scheduled Chris Carr kept insisting that he could do the rest of my flooring needs himself without subcontracting. I told him I'd like to use the company he had to do the other flooring but he insisted that he could do this next part better, cheaper and faster as it was redoing two separate staircases and a hallway. I told Chris that I would be okay with that as long as it could be done in less than a month as I needed this finalized before our final move in. He said he could get started next week. Next week came and went and after several contacts he said the next week. Next week came and went and then he said the next week (this happened several times over course of 2 month to where deadline came passed). Meanwhile, his crew eventually worked on phase 2 of the initial projects we had agreed on. Multiple issues came up during this batch up projects most severe of which was his crew improperly doing a minor plumbing project where they replaced the sink handles in my master bathroom. Unfortunately, based on the layout, I didn't realize this until the next day when I was trying to figure out why the carpet in my master bedroom was soaked. As I investigated, I found a trail of water along the bathroom wall coming from the cabinet under the sink they changed the handles on and led to my brand-new bedroom carpeting. I had to pull up the carpeting and I found large amounts of water soaked into the carpet padding, and the wood below. It went on pretty far as it had been leaking into my bedroom for probably close to 24-hours before I finally caught it. I also found a large amount of damage to the cabinet under the sink and most of the wood caved in and broke. Most if the items I had under the sink were damaged as well. Although he got someone out to fix the leak much later in the day, nothing was done to correct the flooding issue to my bedroom. When on the phone with Chris, he told me to use a dehumidifier and keep it running for days. We also had to cleanup a massive mess from the water. Unfortunately, over time we found this did cause some permanent damage to our floor in the master bedroom near where the water damage occurred as there is now some large squeaks when walking on the floor in the areas where the water damage occurred. They did not do any repairs to the damaged cabinet for several weeks and only after I kept messaging him on it to get those repairs done. While messaging on the repairs, I continued to try and get the flooring scheduled as well. Several weeks after the flooding damage occurred, some of his guys came out to fix the cabinet damage; however, they were not able to finish as they didn't have all the replacement wood they needed. They told me they would be back in the near future to fix the rest of it. A couple weeks went by and they never contacted me or came back so I started messaging Chris on this. I messaged Chris numerous times over a month that he still needed to fix the rest of the cabinet which he acknowledged and stated he was planning on fixing that when he did the stairs but since I moved on with the stairs he would get to it when he had time. Now being the end of December and about 8 months after his crew flooded my bathroom and parts of my master bedroom flooring, he still has NOT finished repairing the damage that his crew did. I didn't even both contacting him on the other damage as at this point I don't trust him and him and his crew are NO longer welcome in my house (as I've continued to find issues with their work over time). I ended up paying almost $4,000 less than the quote from Xclusive Designs for my stairs and flooring.

A total nightmare for nine months and still going. This is the contractor building next door to me…read moreand I am not exaggerating how I have lost a year of life living next door to this construction project. The subcontractors were barbaric, food and trash piled eight foot tall for months even though the city of Hampton was contacted numerous times by all residents currently living in the neighborhood. Rats and raccoons running and taking over the community because of the trash. Long lengths of time while flooding rain stood inside the structure and the mosquitoes multiplied by millions. Loud music, disrespectful contractors taking over our quiet community parking in front of our houses and leaving heavy equipment and trailers for prolonged periods of time and little to no response by the building contractor Chris Carr. Damage to my home as well as the adjacent home, subcontractors who invaded and extracted our property and when approached cursed us out and did more damage to our property. The driver of the earth mover ran it back and forth deeper and deeper towards my property tonight in rage was my last straw, they continued to excavate my property after I called the police and then laughed at me, called me names and broke the shared fence intentionally while excavating and my dog got out who has never been out on his own. While they rode off in the sunset laughing at us because their job was done and the damage was on us for now and maybe years to come. Think twice before you hire this building contractor. He assured us that he would make repairs to our home while he was building but avoids us at all cost and is ready to put this poorly built house on the market for someone else to pay for the long term. This was just a summary of the pain, I could write a book.
