I had no interest in ripping out the kitchen and replacing it so I hired an Interior Decorator. The kitchen itself was in good shape. There were some odd things. Terri came in, made wall and cabinet color suggestions, window covering suggestions and most shocking of all told me to have the refrigerator moved. See the fridge sat in front of the sliding glass door. I had an underused pantry. Moving the fridge into the pantry made it looked built in and let the light flow. It was awesome. In 2010, my partner and I moved back to the area. We called Terri. She came up with a comprehensive design for our house's living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom along with a paint scheme for the entire house. She put us in touch with contractors she recommended. We've changed our minds a few times and each time she's been easy to work with.
