I worked with Tiffany for staging our property. At first, she came across as professional and easy to work with. However, once we made the initial payment, the staging dates began to shift repeatedly. When the staging was eventually completed, it became clear that the space had not been properly planned for. It seemed like the furniture was selected without fully considering the layout of the home, which resulted in a disjointed final look. When we raised concerns, the response we received often felt dismissive, and responsibility was repeatedly shifted back to us. Over the following weeks, after multiple discussions, we were eventually able to get some of the furniture replaced. However, these delays pushed the project timeline back by nearly a month. As a result, the photographer was not able to come on schedule, and we missed the peak selling period of the season. To make matters worse, during the de-staging process, one of their team members accidentally removed or discarded the hardware for an expensive grill, causing additional damage estimated at several hundred dollars. Throughout the process, the Voila team largely denied responsibility for the issues raised. While they described their service as "premium staging," much of the furniture appeared low quality and inconsistent with that positioning. Overall, the delays, damages, and lack of accountability resulted in significant financial and timing losses on our end. read more

They parked in front of my property in the East Falls neighborhood all day blocking the driveway and when asked if that was normal business operations the "gentleman" screamed at my elderly father "who do you think you are talking to" among other things and took a picture of him as he was walking down the driveway. This is completely unacceptable and uncivilized behavior. There were several other spots open on the street but would rather get nearly into blows than park 10 further feet away. Voila as a staging company was extremely disappointing. Demand is high in Philadelphia right now, so perhaps Voila's inventory is thin and selection is down to their worst pieces. I say this because others have rated them highly here on Yelp, so my experience could be the exception not the norm. The furniture was shabby, damaged and mis-matched. This was not a matter of "taste". It was dumpster trash and reflected poorly on the property. It had this "ick" factor which made no staging better than their staging. It was such an inferior job, we demanded they remove all of it immediately. We went to another company and the place looked beautiful four days later. read more

We used Viola for two different homes we owned in Philadelphia. One was a huge, historic Victorian in West Philly ($825k) and the other a minuscule trinity in Queen Village ($275k). In both cases, the houses were properly outiftted to highlight the strengths of the homes. They are professional and timely. We know that their staging contributed to sales of the homes. After finding out that the staging company I typically use to stage my properties was overbooked recently, I decided to try another company, that being Voila Design. They won Best of Philly 2008, so why not? What ensued over the next two weeks was both wasteful to my busy schedule as it was insulting to my professionalism. Voila Design proposed using cheap cookie-cutter furniture and had a complete lack of aesthetics or color sensibility when it came to their plan for my property. If I had allowed Voila Design to proceed, which I didn't (canceling our contract) I believe that my house would never have sold. Fortunately my prior and reliable staging company ended up working overtime to make sure that my needs were met and I plan to never stray again. I have no idea how Voila Design could win any award of any kind when it comes to staging or design. This company has a false website as well, half the images are purchased from photography sites and the text is all marketing jargon. Just the fact that they can lie about the business being around for 25 years shows the type of company this is. If you read their "best in philly" , you will see they are around for 1 year. Read carefully and ask questions before using them. read more

total ripoff- they did a horrible job and all they did was clean my place for 950 dollars- i could have hired a house keeper instead. Than they were suppose to get me designs for a new couch and they picked the worst couch's possible. Now they owe me 1000 dollars and they keep on saying check is in the mail.
