Took it to my local jeweler who cleaned it and seemed puzzled that it didn't get rid of the yellow. He tried to tell me diamonds can't get discolored and implied it was always that way. But it hadn't always been that way. I searched for a gemologist to look at it to see what could have happened to cause the discoloration and was led to Thom Dumas Fine Jewelry. After looking at the stone in its mounting it was taken in the back and cleaned while I waited. It came back looking clear again and as good as new! I was so thrilled!
