Updating my review as things have changed. I would really only recommend coming here on their half off Saturdays which I believe are on the last Saturday of the month. Pricing is insane. Used items are priced at retail value. I found a used leather bag for 49.99. Small decor items for 70-100. They're selling damaged items for high end prices too. Only affordable items are children's toys and clothing. You're better off taking your chances at goodwill. While goodwill is also known for price gouging, at least it's more affordable. I think this place uses Google lens as a reference. I would consider them more of a vintage mall/antique store. I'm giving them 2 stars because they do have good stuff, it's just out of every Americans normal price range for used items/vintage.

Super expensive! I was trying to shop and find something cheap. It turned out to be more expensive than Target and Walmart.

If you aren't claustrophobic, I highly recommend this treasure trove of weird crap dating back to the sixties. Slightly creepy.

This is a review of the drop-off process and parking lot only. I haven't stepped foot inside the…read morestore, so I don't know what the customer end looks, feels, or smells like. I was driving down from San Francisco to Southern California, and I had some clothes that I had been meaning to donate for months. I don't know anything about Salinas, but I assumed it was a big enough city to have a Goodwill, so I looked it up on Yelp and was soon making that right turn into the northern entrance to the parking lot. As I assumed, you can donate in the back of the building. There were already a couple of cars parked in the donation lane, but I only had a small bag, so I found a spot in the totally weird and slightly sus back of the parking lot and walked my bag toward the rear loading doors. It took a minute or two for one of the workers to come out of the store, but he was immediately friendly. He greeted me, told me I could leave my bag anywhere, and thanked me. And I was quickly off, back to my car. When leaving, I used the southern driveway. See, the parking lot surrounds the building, so you can enter and exit from either end (I think). There are parking spots across from the building as you drive along it, but there are many more way behind the building, where I parked. A dumpster was blocking some parking spots, and I had to maneuver to get around a parked semi-truck, which didn't fit in any spot. It was the middle of the day, so I wasn't really worried, but it's probably not the safest parking lot just because of how far away from the building and secluded it is. Main Street is pretty busy, and it's difficult to seen oncoming traffic because the building is in your way, so be very careful when exiting, on either side of the building. When I drove around looking for a place to eat, I saw that there was another Goodwill in Westridge Plaza, which is much more convenient to the 101 than this location is. Still, I'm glad my clothes will have new life, and I can't complain about the donation process here.

They had good stuff but the employees were hesitant about certain prices. I was buying a soft-cover…read morebook, but they were trying to charge me for a hard-cover book. I literally had to repeat myself that the book was a soft cover. The employee had to waste time asking multiple employees to try to charge me more. I walked out upset and ruined my day.
