The proprietor (I don't know if she is the owner or an employee) explained how the clothes were arranged and I proceeded to browse. SHE WATCHED ME THE ENTIRE TIME FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER. The selection is pretty limited, somewhat overpriced and as I said, I had an idea what I was looking for, so it didn't take me long to go through the racks and decide to look elsewhere. I thanked her and left. When I got to my car, she flagged me down, came to my window with an empty and informed me in an accusing tone that I had left a hanger behind. I told her that I hadn't take anything and showed her my purse which was the only thing I had on me. She persisted that she didn't want to have to search me and she could simply watch the surveillance video. I invited her to do so because she wasn't going to find anything. She went back in the store and I followed her, inviting her to watch her video and demanding an apology afterwards. At that point she backpedaled, saying perhaps another employee had left an empty hanger on the rack. When I again told her to check her video, she gave the excuse that it would take too long. I was skeptical, but I dropped it. I informed her that I simply hadn't found what I was looking for adding that I had noted a few items I might have returned for on another occasion, but that after this I was never coming back. She had no response and I left without so much as an apology. I try to patronize small businesses, but I can't think of any other reason for anyone to shop here; you can find the same quality product on amazon for a third of the price with a much bigger selection. If you do go, make sure to keep your hands where she can see them! If she reads this, I hope she'll take it as a lesson. It's unfortunate that people steal; Stealing is vile and, as far as I'm concerned, only the lowest class of people steal, so I take it as personal affront to be put in that category. Inventory control is not nearly as important as attracting and keeping loyal customers, and that is done through good customer service and respect.

I came back around to get her name and another lady said something about telling the manger and said oh, she was probably playing how did Kim, stated I told her that was not professional or respectful and told her I lost my job, and I already felt bad my eyes full of tears. I didn't want to break down at Macys. I came home I called the executive office at Macy's and spoke to Giselle, and she, stated she would be contacting Jennifer, which I advised her I had spoken to a manager, the manager stated Kim, was a vender. Giselle, said yes, she is a vendor for Versace. I told her that Kim was not being professional and that's no way to speak to any customer. I had lost my job playing or not. I never invited her into my conversation. I do not think that is funny. I was crying when I came home at my age 54. just because the woman named Kim, works for Versace, does not give her the right to treat customers like me or any customer like that. Was a dedicated customer for 4yrs , Even after moving to Austin I gave this store my loyalty…read more Unfortunately due to very poor customer service , being hung up on , and threathed to be blocked when I asked for explanations as to why for over 1 month they were telling me they would restock a certain item but after being lead in circles they told me they wouldnt order the product because it wasn't convenient for them. After 4 yrs , if not more, I have hit a wall with this store and I will no longer return. They told me word for word " I don't care if you're a customer for 20 years , if I don't like their attitudes then I can shop else where " Well customer service and how talk to your customers is important to me , I will not be returning to this store. Sorry ! Wish this store would realize they can't treat people like shit just because they want to. It's your job, it's a customer relations kind of job.
