This chicken was obviously cooked over a long period of time given the tenderness of the meat (I did notice a smoker off to the side). Succulent, fall off the bone chicken with just the right amount of kick. I ordered the small and it was a great sized portion for a hungry 'boy'. Absolutely amazing tasting and textured chicken. B) Rice and peas - fragrant, high quality rice with delicious kidney beans. The gentleman working at this place offered oxtounge gravy which I gladly accepted. The sauce to rice ratio was perfect and the flavours were spot on. Honestly, Jamaican cuisine is one of my favourites and this was on par with a traditional home cooked meal found in the heart of Kingston. C) Coleslaw - just the perfect amount of creaminess to cabbage ratio. Fresh, crunchy and tasty! My daughter ordered it but when she opened the wrapper she found that there was no lettuce or tomatoes or fresh onions inside. She was not even asked about options, just got this burger with meat & cheese & condiments only. It is $10. It was a whole different experience from mine, as I was asked for my preferred fresh veggie toppings and condiments extensively.
