Excellent price point for the large portions. Great for large groups. Good vege options. Kids menu…read morehas variety and portions also large. Can't go wrong with this standard American cuisine. Loved it! Banana bread French toast was fantastic and so big I couldn't finish. Warm service and waitress went out of her way to remake donuts for the children due to a mistake that * I made. Very nice. Will certainly be back.

But..... my gosh. The dishes looked nice. My niece said her food was okay. Her cousin said his food was overcooked. My dish was trash, my gosh, I couldn't stomach the taste. The salmon was tough, tasted bad, rank. The seasoning was weird and didn't pair well. It had some kinda spice that tasted odd. I don't even know what to say about it. But later that night I was throwing up well into the morning. I only eat possibly 3-4 small bites, most of the dish was left back. I still tipped and didn't complain as I just wanted the kids to have a nice night without arguing with whoever. As I write this I am reminded of the disgusting taste. NEVER again for that dish! Now that I think about it I honestly shouldn't have tipped. Paying for that dish was already above and beyond!

Updated review. My most recent visit to Angelique Family restaurant was to celebrate my…read moremother-in-law's birthday. We ordered eggs benedict with by far the best Hollandaise sauce you can get. The poached eggs were medium with lots of yolk to spread on the peameal bacon and english muffin. The shredded potato hashbrown is addictive and massive portions. The baked beans were nice and warm to compliment your breakfast. I ordered the 3 eggs over easy with 3 sausages and 3 bacon. They actually serve 4 eggs which I assume they are using medium sized eggs. That's OK as the extra makes up for the smaller eggs. You get a choice of toast ( white, whole wheat or rye) along with shredded potato hashbrowns or home fries. My mother-in-law ordered the Western Omelet with ham and onion. She really enjoyed the dish and she managed to eat almost half of the dish. The coffee is bottomless and the service is very friendly. I suggest dressing up for the cold weather because you might have to lineup outside the restaurant. I don't think they take reservations and it's first come first serve.

An absolute gem! What a cute restaurant and yummy breakfast food! Get there earlier to avoid line…read moreups! It's a cute space that makes you feel like you're supporting a true mom and pop store. They seem to have a great lunch menu - something I shall try when I return for a third time!

I saw their signature Bellini (heard that it is frozen mix of rum, peach liqueur and sparkling…read morewhite wine, topped with sangria) in some advertisement. It looked good, and this restaurant is close to home, and that it is in the weekend happy hour menu. So, we decided to give it a try. While Bellini's presentation was good, I found it too sweet, and I did not feel my desired booziness. Disappointed. I also ordered Mojito (2oz) - the presentation was not sophisticated, the mint was withered. Finally, I tried Caeser(2oz)- They have 3 different Caesars, and I chose Mango one as it sounded unique. Again- presentation was artless and watery. For snack - we had Avocado Feta dip. This one was good. Avocado was fresh and the corn chips tasted fresh and crispy. The size was generous. But the presentation was not impressive. Beer menu is limited. We concluded that, their weekend happy hour is a good idea. We are here around 3pm and the place was busy! But we will not come to this restaurant other than happy hours. The quality of drink (other than wine- which we did not try) is regular pub level.

We went last evening to the Milestones location in Whitby…read more Usually it's okay for service but tonight was terrible Where to start Me and my best friend had ordered Cauliflower bites ....we chose the Korean BBQ flavoured bites We also ordered drinks prior to ordering the food and we had to remind the waitress to bring our drinks after she only brought water When our appy came it was the wrong flavour....it was Cauliflower Parmesan bites which we did try but the flavour was horrible so we sent it back and asked for our original order The food came before we received our appy When we got the appy, the bites were drenched in the Korean bbq sauce and were inedible so we sent those back Additionally with my meal that I ordered....a sweet chili chicken bowl....the chicken was clumped together and definitely inedible We also noticed our waitress was spending a lot of time at the table behind us and rarely checked on us....even though it was not busy Our waitress did not ask if we wanted another appy option or to be comped from our bill When our bill arrived the cauliflower bites were on the bill but I didn't look at the bill and paid as the waitress was standing there waiting for me to pay I needed change so when she brought back the change she didn't bring back the bill to see if the bites were removed so I asked her to bring the bill back She brought the bill back and left We decided to go to the hostess on our way out to ask for our money back for the appy we never ate She got her manager and her manager took care of this which was appreciated This is definitely disappointing as this was the worst service we have had at a Milestones location and I likely will not come back here

Well this is an oshawa institution. I have been living in Durham region for a couple of decades…read morenow but never close. However we are always ready for a road trip to visit. The latest visit was as good as the first one. Same decor, everything still spotless, wait staff friendly and fast. Due to us missing Thanksgiving we had turkey. Yes real turkey not processed roll. Large portions as usual, house made gravy. Mmmm. Close to the 401 easy to get to parking on site. Excellent choice in the menu. And the house made rice pudding for dessert or strawberry pie. A must visit. Pricing very reasonable. Very busy during peak hours. Go!

A relic from the past is still going but I'm not sure that is a good thing…read more Dinner on a Sunday evening at 7pm was met with immediate news that they were closing at 8pm so we were told to rush and order asap. Our server was rough around the edges, very short and to the point. Food was good. A nice portion sized deli sandwich and crispy, golden cut fries. This is why you're coming to Teddy's and the cooks are making it happen. The decor is horribly dated, the restaurant hasn't been updated since the 90s. It's like looking at a parody restaurant from a movie with all the sports and tchotchke memorabilia on the walls from years gone by. It's in a desperate need of an update. My biggest gripe was the server taking our deserts order while in the middle of vacuuming the restaurant because they were closing soon and she obviously wanted to go home. It doesn't make you feel very welcome. They also locked the doors and told us we had to leave from the side door instead of the main entrance. I don't know if I'll be back, it doesn't feel like they want me to come back.
