Great experience working with Clover! Worked directly with Kurt to redo our Falmouth property that had been neglected for Years. Clover did a great job clearing out the overgrown plantings and adding a lot of new shrubs/trees. The project included a new overall design for the entire property, including taking out large trees, and adding in bluestone, walkway and patio, could not be happier with the job, and the friendliness of Kurt and the entire Clover team. Super dissapointed with this company. To be fair, it's hard to find good help overall these days and it seems to be the standard with contractors to just not call back or to not send estimates. I've seen their work and they do nice work! My mom had them come out to give an estimate for regular yard work, as well as projects to be done over time. The gentleman she spoke to over the phone was great. The man who showed up who was different, I was there for at first, and he was grumpy, not friendly, and I had to step away. She said he was short with her, took some notes, and would not really give her ANY IDEA if how much anything would be, or discuss the projects she had in mind. He would send the estimates over. Well. Here we are weeks later, and the company ghosted her. Sad because I expected more from them. In addition I'm dissapointed because I was going to ask them to come to my home to do an estimate for some extensive work on my yard as well but apparently they have plenty of work and don't need ours. If you don't want the job, just say it. But don't ghost my family to leave us to look for other companies. Sadly it seems to be the practice these days. But if you can get them out to do your project, they did my neighbor's yard and masonry work and it came out nice. read more

We signed a contract with clover in the first part of May 2021 and sent it in with a deposit. We were told they were 4 to 5 weeks out which was understandable. The middle of July we called they said we were on the list. (What does that mean) Now the middle of August still no word. When we called again the receptionist who was very nice said she had to check with Greg McDonald, his reply was the middle of September. Well September has come and gone no word from Clover. We called and asked for our deposit back and they did send it to us. Poor way to do business. Your better off finding someone else. read more

The worst! Shysters. Hired them 3 winters ago-for snow removal services. First winter not much snowfall. Last year received double billing for single event . But that doesn't take the cake. This January , they showed up at night ,stayed around for a few minutes and left. Granted we had an agreement that if snowfall was less than 2 inches we would handle it ourselves, which we did. And, you guessed it, received a bill for snow removal, and for 5 inches no less! And, finally, this past weeks 24 inch snowfall came, and we waited, and waited, and waited for them to show up. Called to ask what the issue was, and we were told that we were on their list and that the people on the route would get to us. Well, 4 days later, yep! , no show. And all this without any form of communication, apologies, etc. We canned them and would not recommend them for anything. read more

At can't say enough about what a terrific job Clover Landscape did with a project at my home. I had a vague idea of what I wanted to do. The entrance to our home was all wrong and the space in front needed to some serious attention. Kurt came in suggested what ultimately became a beautiful wall and patio with landscaped beds. The patio is now a favorite spot for our family to hang out on. The neighbors constantly compliment us on the wall. The project result not only solved the problems we had with the front entrance, but also greatly enhanced our home. Kurt McDonald at Clover quoted a job in February that was to be done in early spring. Clover failed to start it. Clover failed to respond to inquiries I finally got Willie on the phone. He asked me to re-fax the quote. I did twice. Again no response. A week later I again got Willie on the phone. He told me that he would add me to the list of jobs. I asked why no one was getting back to me. He then blew up and told me that if I didn't want the work done that he would pull the job. I told him to do so. He hung up. Just terrible! read more

Kurt's guys did a simple job for me, a square bluestone patio. I even supplied the bluestone paving myself. The job was small enough that many companies would have rushed it, but they took great care to do a good job. Their attention to detail was exceptional, including clean-up. Our original experience was quite good in that Clover returned our calls, Kurt provided some excellent suggestions, made some corrections when we had some concerns and all was well until .....we were't happy with the lawn and Kurt said he would return in the spring to reseed. Since we had a good experience up until then I (foolishly) paid him the balance in full. By spring time the lawn looked awful, the screened loam showed more junk than you could imagine and the weeds were running rampant. After many phone calls Kurt showed up and we went over what had to be done including a piece of granite step landing that was cracked during the installation. We also asked him to provide some additional services. He assured us that this would be completed by the end of the week. Some three weeks later nothing had been done. He aplogized and said they were very busy and PROMISED it would be done shortly. They came by and sprayed the driveway (shells) where some seeds had fallen during the seeding but there was no evidence they did a anything else. It is now the end of June and still no Kurt and no Clover. Proceed with caution. read more

DO NOT USE. Did not finish job. Called about 6 times to speak with Kurt McDonald; never there, never returned calls. Ended up in Small Claims Court as I refused to pay. There were 5 other Clover customers there no other landscaping companies at court. You decide. If you have already hired them, take before and after pictures and document EVEYTHING. These guys did a fantastic job. Greg McDonald and his team of professionals did a major hardscape and landscape job on our property and it looks beautiful. From inception to fruition, planning to executing, my family could not have asked for a better job. We interviewed many landscape companies, none of them compared to these guys. Clover did $24 thousand of work for me about 6 years ago. Blue stone walk ways, patio, front and back steps. The front steps began to crack and separate a few years ago. As did the back patio. Kurt did come to inspect over a year ago and promised to fix the steps and reset some of the blue stone. I have called several times and even went to the office in person. Kurt is always apologetic and says they have been busy but will be out right away. Well it has been a year and a half. Obviously, Kurt will not be coming out to fix anything. Kurt is incompetant and he is the only one allowed to take action so good luck if you have a problem with their work. read more
