The sites are decent size, but they are tight if you've got somebody sitting right next to you, but still plenty of room for your slides and such. There are picnic tables at all the spots, as well as as there are two small cabins that can be rented if you are traveling with people who do not have a camper. This campground is clean and well kept and the staff were very friendly! They were super helpful with anything that we needed. You do have a bit of road noise from hwy 60 as well as there are trains nearby but a fan running drowned most of that out noise. WiFi was ok- we tended to get booted off a couple times in the evening when a lot of people were at the campground. Verizon was 2 to 3 bars and a little more reliable. There's a laundry room with three washers three dryers at $1.75 a load and everything worked great. All the services at the site worked great. You are about 10 minutes from the town of Clovis and there is plenty of shopping, a planet fitness For a good workout as well as tons of restaurants. We wanted to visit the rock 'n' roll museum here, but they are closed for renovations as of the date of this review.

But I have to mention for those of you out there who are sensitive to noise like me that about 4:30 in the morning this high-pitched noise started I believe from the factory and the trains over in the video I attached if you have an RV that doesn't have really thick walls. This could be a problem. I attached it so you could hear it cause maybe you'll decide that it wouldn't bother you. It was not happening when we went to sleep. Everything else about this place is absolutely perfect though.

You have electricity, water, sewer, & a picnic table of your own. A small grass area for dog walking and a convenience store across the road. We took a little walk and discovered a beautiful historic village about 2 blocks west. Do be aware if storms move in from the west, there's feed lots so you could get caught in a literal $hiT storm like our first time here. Leave a donation in the provided boxes if you feel like it!

First let me say that the staff and housekeeping folks are fantastic. But they have a tough job…read more The facilities are old, run down and in need of replacement. The good news is that help is on the horizon. Right now (Sept 2018), the Air Force is in the process of building a new TLF building. The old one has been demolished and the new one should be completed in 2021. Space is limited here and PCS folks get first dibs. So make reservations early if you are planning on coming out this way. Otherwise, you will have to stay in Clovis. The bad news is that TLF was the nice building. The regular rooms are pretty worn out. I am out here on a 90 day TDY, my first room was a nice corner room. But the bathtub started leaking badly. The water was free flowing and would not shut off. I had to move to another room because the CE guys told me that the fix would take a week or so. The plumbing is so old that they don't make the parts anymore for the fixtures. So they had to cut a big hole in the wall, replace the plumbing and then retile the bathroom. I am now on my second room and the A/C went out. I won't be fixed for 2 days (hopefully??). They offered to move me to another room. But I have so much stuff that it wouldn't be worth it to move all my crap, again. PS- the Air is centrally controlled. The person in the room can only change the air from 71-73 degrees. The WiFi is free but super slow and the TV has very limited channels. I love the base itself, but the billeting has some major issues. Hopefully they will be fixed over the next few years.

Although the room looks nice it was far from clean the air vent was caked in dust, the runner on the closet was filthy and the coffee pot wasn't clean and had a dirty coffee bag left in it. Also I am not sure what's up with the AC but the room was hotter inside then it was outside. This is by far the dirtiest military loading we have stayed in for 10 years. We just came from Kirtland AFB and the lodging there was immaculate.

Uber and Lyft were not viable options and as a woman traveling alone, I was slightly panicked and a little apprehensive. Uniquee Shuttle Service was an answered prayer and a Godsend. I felt relaxed and at ease enough to comfortably nap a little on the way back to Albuquerque. This is a contact that I will keep and without a doubt use again. Thank you ... over and over. This is an honest and real review from someone who rarely submits one. He has excellent customer service and this was further demonstrated by him receiving multiple calls for service during our trip. Additionally he was a very safe, aware, and alert driver.

Then it was hard to put the quarters in the washers. The owner kept asking me if I put in a 20. No I kept telling the truth it was a 10. He gave me my 10 in quarters and informed me the machine was working right. I don't lie. They have cameras he could of looked. Now someone else will have trouble with the coin machine. This was my first and last time at this laundry!
