Went with the clubhouse sandwich. It actually had real turkey meat on the sandwich, no deli meat. So good and very filling. Hubby had veal cutlets to which he approved. About 10 of us were at my dad's house visiting and helping out. When it was time for dinner, dad recommended I go pick up some pizza at this local place. I ordered 3 Greek salads and 4 pizzas: 2 XL House special pizzas, 1 XL cheese and 1 gluten free pizza. We all enjoyed some salad and pizza, and there was leftovers as well. The pizza was excellent, very tasty, full of cheese and generous toppings. The pizza ingredients were tasty and fresh. The crust was thicker but very nicely risen and flavorful. The greek salads were good as well (the only thing missing was olives, which is usual for Greek salad). The staff was very kind and nice to speak with. When I arrived they were busy with a lot of pick up orders. We waited just a few more minutes for our pizza to finish and we got them piping hot to bring home. The facility is small, and clearly does a lot of delivery and take out, although they have a few tables for people who wanted to sit down and eat a meal at the pizza shop. The prices were quite reasonable for a small town like this. Overall, Stettler Pizza has surprisingly excellent pizza, warm and gracious staff, and reasonable prices. When I return for family visits, I will be back.

Looking for simply solid food, this is the place to go in this part of Alberta. Next door is a flea market of sorts (only noticed it as I was driving away but that could be fun to check out first and then go for food afterwards before heading back to camping). I appreciated the ramp along the side of the building as the stairs up were really tough on my knees. Lovely staff and calm atmosphere within the restaurant. I'm sure I'll be back again when we go camping next year.

A small little cafe just off the intersection of the A-12 (on your way to Stettler) and the 835 (which leads to Buffalo Lake), the grill is a nice rest and good food. On my visit today, I tried the Erskine Burger, which is a 6oz patty overwhelmed with mushrooms, cheese and gravy. And it was excellent. The patty was perfectly cooked, homestyle, not a frozen thing smashed into tastelessness. The patty was juicy, flavorful and cooked right. The mushrooms held into the melted cheese were great and the layer of gravy made it a real Canadian treat! The dining area is small but can fit a crowd of about 20. The staff is very kind and answered our questions and explained everything. Prices were very reasonable and we had lunch on a budget of about 28 for two people which is very good these days. I will definitely be back. If you have a chance to visit the Erskine Grill, I strongly encourage to do so. Happy travels, and happy eating!
