They are not staffed 24/7 but they are very prompt with responding to text messages if you have any questions. I stayed in the Kennedy Cottage which was its own private small space away from the main building. The room was lovely and it was nice to have the privacy and not worry about shared walls. They prepared a wonderful hot breakfast in the morning with fruit and a tartin- kind of an open-faced sandwich. My only complaint is the parking is very awkward, especially if you don't have a compact car, but they have made the most of the landscape.

I've stayed in the Martha Washington room a few times because it has everything I need--the perfect mattress, a view overlooking the garden, giant soaking tub, complimentary water and a balcony for my (first) morning coffee. Honestly, meeting Gary and Kitt gave me the definition of southern hospitality. Kitt took care to ask about my dietary needs and adjusted her breakfast menu accordingly. Not only do I strongly recommend at Least one night here, I'm concerned that they'll be too booked up for me to get back in.
