The customer service staff by the register and the care free manager on duty on July19th can both use a customer service refresh. Every action to process a transaction seems to be a bother with heavy attitude. Merchandise is also thrown around with complete lack of care. Overall, a lackluster customer service experience that limits the chances of any repeat visits. read more

Went in Club Monaco with my girlfriend with the sole purpose of picking up a few items for an upcoming trip - we were greeted by a high energy SA upon entering. My girlfriend gravitated to him not only because he was funny moreso because he wasn't try to upsell her. I've got hand it to him he selected items for her as well as and gave he ideas of how to wear the items. I sat in the store provided chair adjacent to the fitting room while they discussed items. Dude was great, providing multiple items for her, my girlfriend even said to me that he really listened to her and what she was trying to put together for the trip. I even heard other ladies in the fitting room asking his advice and they were really listening to him. my girlfriend pretty much purchased each of the items he selected for her. When we checked out, we went back to him to help put together some outfits for me as well. Both my girlfriend and I throughly enjoyed our experience at Club Monaco thanks to are new stylish buddy, Matt Harris! read more

Worst customer service. I bought two jeans from Club Monaco and it was definitely unpleasant. The lady who seems to be a sales associate aggressively asked us what size we are looking for when we were searching for size 27 from the bulk of jeans. Since I know how hard it is to reorganize those clothes, I was careful in terms of finding the right size. Before I even finish looking, the lady was kept saying "no size anymore" when she didn't even look into the jeans. So we tried to look into it and she aggressively dedged the jeans, trying to stop us even looking into it. Also kept repeated "no more" when I could see size 27 on the bottom layer. So we just said "well, there is one on the bottom" and she looked as us like "huh whatever" and left. When checking out, cashier was asking "was there anyone helping you during today's shopping" and I told him this unpleasant happening and all we got was "got it" with such an indifferent looking.He never even asked who the associate was or tried to figure out further on what happened. At that point, I wasn't even looking for getting apologies. It was a very disappointing experience ever when it was my first time shopping in-store with Club Monaco. read more

I really liked this location. It was clean and everyone was helpful and knew what season each piece was. They were nice and welcoming. I am not sure why the others have commented in such a negative way. I was dressed up when I went in, so maybe that helped. 3 times this season I have ordered a sweater or a coat on sale at Club Monaco, only to get multiple updates that my order is shipping soon, and the. have the order cancelled after the promotion expires, yet the item in my size is still available on the website at full price after the promotion ends. read more

You want to save money? Try shopping in this store. The sales people will stop you from spending money by 1) avoiding any eye contact with their customers 2) pulling on a long face to show you how much they hate their jobs 3)being very impatient and unwilling to answer questions about the items. So I know I'm not wrong for posting this due to the numerous complaints I have already read so far.. which by the way is terrible: something should be done about it... One of the managers; Samantha Meadows to be exact, who was doing absolutely nothing besides barking orders at the other employees who were clear as day working... asked one of the other employees to tell me (a customer) to leave for no reason at all besides being a bitch standing on a self made pedestal.. people like that shouldn't work with people... why do people all of sudden think once they become manager it's time to be a bitch? Just because I was having a conversation with an employee who btw was still working their ass off? Ridiculous... The guy working in the men's shop at around 4-4:30 pm today, June 17, was great. Very helpful. But once I got to checkout...the guy working behind the register obviously needed more customer service training! Why work in retail when you clearly do not like people! And to make matters worst, these two white women inserted themselves RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME as I waited to be treated poorly by the checkout guy! Goes to show how POC are totally invisible to these people who are entirely unaware of how they manifest their privilege. read more

I've never really spent the time in this store to write a quality review. After a trip this Saturday night, I feel I'm ready. I really like the style of clothing here even if some of the items are smaller in fit than the sizes I'm used to (I'm big boned, I'll get over it. Wait, No I won't. But oh well). If you search enough, you can find something that will fit you suitably, and if price is your concern, there are always a lot of items on sale. I can smell discounts like I can smell baked goods. The staff here is also friendly. Brad, I believe was his name, assisted me when it was time to try on clothes and inevitably helped me make a final selection. I change my mind on things as often as some Eastern European countries change governments, so reassurance is a must! Plus I believe Brad was gay (a male working retail in Boston, SHOCKER) so I took his opinion as an honest one. Even one of my friends was happy with my purchase and commented that I "wasn't dressed like a lesbian tonight." Right in the shops at the Prudential Center which is a close proximity to my apartment, I'm going to stop in here more often and check out the sale items. Fashion? Yes. Full price? No! read more

Yes, yes, YES! Who do we not have one of these in Providence? WHY??? This location is absolutely the best I've been to. They layout is fabulous, the selection incredible and the staff superb. Had it not been for the attention of the two gents who helped me during my visit, I may not be the thrilled new owner of two of my most favorite sweaters. Truth be told, they're gorgeous -- tasteful and understated while having a cool and slight edgy quality to them, they're perfectly suited to moi at this moment. The space is fantastic -- it's sort of broken down into a multi-room boutique, each with a different flavor. They're all immaculate and well-attended, the displays are tidy and everything is super easy to find. As I mentioned, the staff is excellent -- I was greeted by a graceful and quick dude who continuously whisked away my items to a fitting room, appeared back with a suggestion for a sweater and never forgot my name once. Back in the fitting room, the sweetest guy ever helped me decide which items work and will continue to work with my ever-expanding frame (now that I am very obviously pregnant), and we had fun while doing it. It was such a pleasant experience, I will continue to come to this location as often as I can when I need to. I love CM clothing, and finding a store and staff to match the quality and design of their line is like hitting the jackpot in my book. read more

One of my most fav stores to shop at! The sales here are ridiculous! I got pants here for $20 and a down coat for $50!!! Most tops are priced at $50 or so. Simple but incredibly HOT! I love the whole yacht motif they have going on. My friend got a sweatshirt here and liked it so much he bought another in a different color. The sales staff is so so except for the girl that stands in the front and says hi, she's so chirpy and friendly. They don't turn over their merchandise very often so I have to limit my trips here or I'll get bored and frustrated. The best sales are at the end of the winter season when they're trying to get rid of their cords, coats, and sweaters (cashmere for $50). read more

This Canadian brand makes some great knock offs...you'll find trend mixed with basics at semi-affordable prices...some things are reasonable and other are simply not. The clothing is made pretty well for a chain of its kind, but Jennifer s. is right about it being hit or miss. If you haven't been it is def. worth checking out. It is sort of a cross between a gap/banana/anntaylor and Benetton with better quality and trendier clothes. Beware of ULTRA trendy overpriced crap....like a metal chain necklace that looks like it was made-in-china for 2 bucks, but costs $80 at CM. And Joyce K is right on target with the sales.....you have to hit the them.... they are very, very impressive. And lastly, the pants here are great....I like the fit of most styles and they look more expensive than they actually are.... read more

I want to start this by stating that I really like the clothing that the store offers. I also have had a handful of pleasant experiences at the store, especially while in the men's section. Unfortunately I have had more disappointing experiences than not. There are a handful of floor help and managers that are clearly confused as to what customer service means and it shows in the attitude they have when helping customers. Unless you're buying half the store they could completely disregard the fact that you are shopping there. I've always loved Club Monaco's clothing, and they have decent sales too! I came here with my friend last night, and she was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. She didn't have the details about the time and venue of the wedding, so we were searching for something versatile. The workers here were really helpful with suggestions of dresses and accessories, and they even chatted with and kept me company while I was sitting by the dressing rooms as she was trying on her dresses. Result: Walked out of there with a cute, pretty dress and accessories that're perfect for her and the occasion. read more

For cute tops and great pants and updated suits - it's awesome. Their dresses are a little strange - too dressy for casual wear, but too casual for something dressy. The staff here seems overwhelmed most of the time - like they are just trying to survive their shift - so don't expect niceties from the staff. read more

Located near my law firm, so I walk by every day and am drawn inside by the ever-changing window displays, however, I second guess my decision when assaulted with 10 young sales associates as soon as I step foot inside. I want to browse in peace, not be asked "can I help you with anything?" or "oh, isn't that piece just beautiful!" every other second. I also really dislike when they add clothes to my dressing room, other than the items I actually picked out. If I had wanted to try on those other outfits, I would have taken them with me to the dressing room! I do find unique pieces here once in a while, so I'll continue to occasionally stop in, but the prices are high for similar styles that can be found elsewhere for much less. read more

Let me start by reiterating that this establishment is altogether nice and friendly, if not unintentionally completely stuck up and snooty. If you're into that, and love rubbing elbows with nothing-better-to-do trust fund babies, more power to you. The clothes may be "pretty," but that is about as far as it goes. As well designed as it is, it is ALL overpriced, made from bottom shelf fabrics, with sweatshop quality craftsmanship, mostly made in China. You're better off going to Uniqlo or H&M if you like this kind of stuff. Express is even has a higher quality build, in my opinion. For the record, I moved to the area and purchased a significant amount of clothing here because I was impressed, at first glance, with the styling and "quality." I mostly acquired pants and shorts in basic versatile colors (navy, khaki, gray), plus a few shirts and a sweatshirt. Two of the 8 items I purchased have held out after a year of casual wear (three to six times per month). Those were the sweatshirt and a casual long-sleeved oxford button down. The other shirt (a blue linen button down that I really liked at first), was great for the first week, but was so fragile that you couldn't dry it in a machine, and weren't supposed to iron it. After a few washes, the fabric literally started to disintegrate in places (around the waistline and cuffs). Pathetic. That shirt cost $95. ALL of the pants and shorts ripped right through the seat (shorts were around $70 each, chinos were about $100). It was completely embarrassing a few times in public and at work (and I am a fit, slim, 5'9" fella that weighs in at 155). This was commonly due to very regular physical activity such as squatting, or sitting down on a low seated couch. Heaven forbid you should spill a drop of coffee on them or make a mark with a pen or pencil, because the fabric is so cheap that it stains immediately and didn't come out after repeated attempts. Unless you intend on wearing it once and tossing it out, do yourself a favor: go somewhere other than Club Taint Rip. read more

I love Club Monaco even more than Zara, Gap, Jcrew, Express and Banana. Their clothes are really cut to fit the size that they say, unlike Zara where an XL is really a XS. Damn European cuts. The staff in the Pru location are not very friendly however. I get better customer service at the one in Natick. They know me and even call me about sales, or when new things come in. read more

Entering the "real world" made it absolutely necessary for me to go work-clothes shopping. Okay, fine, I'll take any excuse to go shopping. I've always ignored Club Monaco when I'm at the mall, thinking it was too expensive and simple. But ever since my recent purchase (friend convinced me), I'm slowly becoming a fan. True, you can easily get similar trendy-for-work style at Express or Zara, but there's a HUGE difference in quality ...and price for that matter. Clothes and leather gloves are ultra soft. I usually go straight to the sales racks. The accessories are super-cute but way overpriced for things made in China. Btw, NO EARRINGS - learned this from my friend the other day. I have a new crush and it is Club Monaco. Keri Russell recommended this place to me. Well ok, not to me personally but I learned about this contemporary store from one of her interviews in which she gushed about the fabulous timeless style of CM. Now for the lowdown..... Club Monaco's selection is rather limited and for the most part they carry a lot of whites and blacks with the occasional floral print or splash of color. They offer a 20% discount to those with valid Student IDs. As far as prices go, I say they are mid-high range (sorry that probably makes no sense at all) For example a dress may set you back $150-200 and skirts are in the $99 to $129 range. But before you start screaming that those prices are too high... I must tell you two things: 1. The clothes will make you look fab, will flatter your figure and last you a long time 2. You might just find a bargain on the sale rack, so don't give up hope. I just found a bargain there and nearly scared the salesgirl with my gleeful screaming. I found a wool blend suiting skirt in a almost black navy color, just the right length.. barely grazing the knee. I could tell immediately that it was a timeless and well crafted piece that I can wear for years... and it only cost $29 (original price $129). And did I mention it has pockets... you know the cool type that you slide your hands in when you're acting cool. SCORE! Their pencil skirts are to die for and will look amazing either dressed up with a blazer or worn more caz with a flowly tank and oversized chain neclace. The wonderful thing about this place is how easy it is to mix and match pieces within the store or even incorporate them into your existing wardrobe. As far as the Men's side goes it is a little bit more limited. However, again the clothes look sharp and are worth a look. Personally if I had all the money in the world I would prefer to buy my work clothes from here versus Banana. I had always walked past this store in the Pru thinking it to boring or overpriced... so thank you Keri for giving me that little push into this brightly lit store. Something really has to be done about the customer experience/service at this store. There rarely is -- if any -- an acknowledgement or a hello. The last time I was there, I felt that one of the sales associates, an older woman was just staring at me shop, but never asked me if I needed help, or a fitting room. The one thing that irks me about Club Monaco is their mannequin selection: they typically have three mannequins in the front window: one dressed one way, and the other two DRESSED EXACTLY THE SAME. That very oddity is what brought me into their store to check 'em out the first time. I figured that if they were that weird to dress twin mannequins, something is either really wrong, or really right. What I found was a store that has really great clothes, although sometimes wayyyyy too expensive for me to even browse. I love their hip preppy stuff, and I have a lot of fun drooling over their large handbags and la-la-lovely accessories. The items I have purchased from Club Monaco fit beautifully and have lasted very long. And a trip with my mother once uncovered the little secret that Club Monaco may not want to boast: they do free alterations! Can't beat that. But they won't advertise it - so make sure you ask! A little out of my price range, yes... but there are some hidden gems in there and for that, and the fact that their mannequin etiquette is so bad it's good, I'm a fan for life. read more

Lunch time shopping is awesome! this was the first time i have ever been in Club Monaco. ive always walked by it and admired the models and their outfits in the window. i always thought that this was way out of my price range, but you know what . its not. prices are pretty reasonable for the pieces you get because they aren't a trendy fab but they are timeless pieces. they are colors that will never go out of style, mind you most of thier clothes are black or white. i found this awesome top and it was on sale! what was even better was that all the sale stuff was an additional 20% off! the salesperson that hung me up asked if anyone had helped me. i said no and she apologized for that! thats awesome. i will definately stop by here when im around. its awesome and i'm sold.! read more

The sale rack, the sale rack, the sale rack! Club Monaco is akin to the likes of Banana Republic, though a little more European, a little more MONACO as their moniker boasts. I've never been to Monaco, but the store carries everything from dressier work apparel to going out fare. The sales people are typically apathetic but don't let that stop you. If nothing more this place is good for an inspirational browse. I never feel guilty about purchasing something not on sale - the quality of their items is worth it. Though the sale rack is the best kept secret ever. Go in, pick out what you want, and return a month later for half-off. It's so easy, it feels like stealing. read more

Granted my new found freedom, I decided to go shopping at the Pru. This is nice store. Well organized and clean. The merchandise they carry is a little "boring", but you can find a few timeless practical pieces there. The quality is pretty good their stuff will not fall apart after the first wash. The clothes are mostly, black, white and a slash a color here and there. The prices are a little too high for my budged, but they do have a nice sale rack and I did get a new skirt for $39, original price $149. Not bad, but I've had a better bargain. The staff is a little stuck up, unfriendly and snotty. But most of the sales persons usually look down on me, maybe you'll have better luck. read more

I loved shopping at Club Monaco in Beverly Hills. The staff was friendly and professional. This location is dire. The staff is cold. No welcome or immediate acknowledgement. I was looking at cashmere and wool sweaters. There were some handsome peices but after the subpar experience I left. I can always order online. That's the issue with most stores. The staff are not properly trained nor are they customer service oriented. This Club Monaco has never been great at service since the first time I shopped there. read more

The customer service here is horrible. The staff up front are very rude and don't give a f*ck. I was there while a customer (who didn't speak english all that well) was waiting for someone and pretty much everyone ignored her. Why wouldn't you try to help and be a good person? I don't know what the managers are teaching their employees, but it's pretty sad. The only employee I could say was decent was an asian woman named Jo or Jho... Other than that, I'd rather shop online than go here. Hopefully the managers read this and teach their staff some manners. read more

I'm so tired of places that make cute trendy clothes that fall apart. Check out club Monaco for a mix of classic and trendy clothes of high quality. The prices are really reasonable here, the staff is very helpful, the only problem is the poorly lit fitting room. Luckily Club Monaco has an easy return policy so if you get home and find out that khaki just isn't your color they're happy to take it back. read more
