I recently joined at the Surfside location. I do look forward to my classes. I like being challenged. That being said, the issues I do have here is the inconsistency with the different instructors. I've taken enough classes to know which instructors are upbeat energetic and keep the class going at a good pace. I try to get booked into their classes. Unfortunately, my schedule sometimes requires me to pick classes with instructors that I really don't care for. Specifically, one class the music was so loud, the instructor said they can't play music with words (?) and the front desk girl put a very strong essential oil in the diffuser during class. The whole session was overwhelming and not enjoyable Secondly, a few of the 1.5 classes I booked with a great instructor was started by an "in training " instructor. I get it. They need hours. My issue with the training instructor was that she almost didn't start her classes on time ( both times) and had to be prompted by the main instructor to "start" and she wasn't clear and precise on instructions, was quiet and couldn't hear her and she kept giving us breaks! It's 1.5 I don't want a break. Some instructors lack proper direction where I have to ask what position the feet legs etc should be. I'm not the only one either For the cost of membership (unlimited) I'm not totally impressed. Considering canceling my membership and going in a different direction with exercise. read more

I love Club Pilates! The classes are challenging, the teachers are fun, passionate and really take the time to get to know the students' physical limitations. They are also very williing to help orient newcomers to the subleties of setting up the reformer for a great experience. There is often a waitlist for classes, but in my experience I always get in because people drop out. I love that it's so popular and love that the class size is limited. There is a feeling of community as well which you don't get at the mega-sized gyms in town. I highly recommend this studio. read more

Don't bother joining. Classes are always booked full so you can't get in but then when you actually get into a class, there are empty reformers. It's so frustrating. Instructors are mostly new and don't offer modifications. Finally, if you want to freeze your account to go on vacation or out of town for a few weeks they charge a 15 dollar freeze fee. Don't waste your money. Way too expensive for the value. read more
