While we seek for fun classes for lil dancers, we would like to see more corrections to learn the proper forms. Some classes are way too large. The waiting area is chaotic. There are often two classes begin and dismiss at the same time. The only changing room is in one of the class rooms. You have no choice, but change in the waiting are. Some wall hooks would be very helpful to free up the seats. The receptionist is always very kind, polite and considerate which is a plus. The sad looking bathroom needs a lot of help. The toilette paper hanger has been broken for ages and it's never fixed. The cleaner can also do a better job. The elevator has been out of order for at least 4 months if not more. The hookah lounge downstairs emits very strong smell that is also in the dance studio. I truly hope that this establishment will find a better space soon!!! ----//--- Update review (6/2018) My child has been taking ballet here for the past 3.5 years. It was all play before age 6. Then the students are taught more advance moves. Just saw the entire studio's performances for the first time. What a disappointment! The high level groups don't show any advancement. If you are looking for serious ballet, this isn't for you. What a big waste of money! No more classes there! Also 90 % of the kids of the entire studio were wearing the same costumes. Who does that? I am glad my child's grandparents couldn't be there. I feel terrible for the older audiences. I myself had a hard time finding my child on stage.

They're super personable/motivating, correct your form, and give you shoutouts. The head coach Nick noticed I was new at my very first class at LIC, showing that he actually knows the members at his studio. He truly gets to know everyone and is always keeping the energy in class high. The staff are SO friendly. Kyle, Nina, and Jewelles are so nice every time I come to class and leave. They answer any questions you have and couldn't be nicer. They truly make you feel like you're part of the OTF family at LIC. The studio and space are GREAT. It's always clean, there's two bathrooms, shower space, and plenty of locker space. Some studios are cramped or laid out poorly, not LIC. The studio is big enough to have plenty of space on the floor. For their strength classes, they even put the rowers up in order to let more people join class, which is much appreciated. Their equipment is all up to date and dumbbells/Y bells are new and nice. The members here are also very nice. I don't feel judged where some OTFs have more pretentious members. Thats not the case here. The workouts are always great, with lots of variety. I couldn't recommend this orangetheory more. It's truly the best I've been to!! The inside was pretty small but I did like what they were offering. I was about to sign up for the free day pass when I was asked for my credit card right when I was about to sign. I didn't realized I was signing up for one free class but having to pay the monthly fee. I should have known better because I didn't read the fine print. This yoga is derived from the old school--highly contemplative and mellow, and yet physically challenging. It features small, intimate studio spaces and lots of personal attention. Edita can be teaching in a mixed level format, wherein absolute beginners could practice with experienced intermediate level practitioners. Brigitte is alignment-oriented and you will wind up finding your edge in the most fundamental of poses!! There is no room here for the before-class intimidating, competitive, show-offy vibe like I see elsewhere ... There are no rococo dharma talks ... and there are no teachers paying attention to just the future yoga rock stars ... The expiration date on the class pack may not work all the time with how often I could get to this studio, but they are home-practitioner-friendly. This is yoga just like yoga class used to be ... classes unlike other yoga studios in the area with their trendy-wannabe yogis. Airline and hotel reservations were done carefully and we had no problems at check-in times at the airlines and hotels. At certain hotels, she managed to have us checked in before check-in time. She handled reservations for all our exciting and fun filled tours. When one of the travelers wallet and phone were stolen in Barcelona, she went above board in helping her with all that needed to be done. This took alot of time and energy on her part. I had a leg injury and visited a chiropractor several times, but my progress was very slow. After only three deep-tissue massage sessions with Danny, I noticed a significant improvement and was able to gradually return to my normal activities. I have also had a great experience with Danny's strength classes. In the past, I attended Orangetheory and was injured several times because the trainers were not always able to notice or correct improper form. Danny gives each person individual attention and takes the time to correct posture and technique. Since training with him, I have been able to build strength without getting injured. His training also improves mobility, balance, and the movements we use in everyday life. The singing class is another great addition. The instructor is very dedicated, patient, and genuinely invested in helping each student improve. I'm also very excited that the studio is now offering Pilates reformer classes at an affordable price. It is wonderful to have access to so many high-quality fitness and wellness services in one welcoming place. Danny and his team are knowledgeable, attentive, and truly care about their clients.
