It's way too mellow (and downright annoying) to match the amount of exertion needed to complete the class. I'll keep going here though because there are no other true hot yoga studios for miles.

The room is kept dark/dim, the music is loud and the class is very fast-paced (active listening is a must!). I love this type of gym, but I understand it may not be for everyone. They have a lot of classes throughout the day which works well for my flexible work schedule and as a working mom. There is ample parking and the studio is clean. What are you waiting for? Me? They can design an exercise program for a high school or college athlete to enhance his or her performance in whatever other sports they participate in. On the other end of the spectrum, they can tailor a program for a 70, or even 80 year-old to enhance strength and mobility. Cardiovascular and weight training are notable strengths. Further, the FT staff can provide weight and dietary counseling to round out a client's experience. The trainers are caring, motivating, and truly professional. Lake Forest is lucky to have such a great exercise option in town.
