The instructor's name was Joyce and because of her enthusiasm, professionalism and pure passion displayed in the class, I signed up immediately! Pilates helps me begin my day with a full body workout without putting the stress on my lower back. I feel energized and confident in myself and ready to conquer the day. As someone who has been doing pilates and lagree for over two years, i wanted to try this studio since i moved into the area. I only take 1.5 classes and I feel that they are still minimally challenging, it's also the same routine with all the instructors (except Michelle). I understand the age demographic is more mature clients, however, i'd like to feel a more challenging workout. I take these classes on recovery days. I wish they offered a more advanced class. read more

For the love of God...."Thayer" is super sweet but takes over 30 seconds to tell you how to set up. We do not need to hear about what a "tiger Mom/Grandma" you are nor do we need to hear about shaking stress off....We are adults, we know how to keep ourselves safe, we pay a lot....just give us a workout! read more

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! I took an introductory class with my daughter and we both liked the introductory class. They had an introductory price $159 for three months. You cannot cancel until three months are over. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD! I cancelled after the three months after giving them 30 days notice. The Sales Manager Priscilla Codinach told me I could put my account on a freeze (trying to get me to stay a member). What they neglect to tell you is if you are put on a freeze, when you want to get off, you must give another 30 days notice and they will charge you full price of $199. I never signed a contract putting me on a freeze. Yet, they continued to charge my card a freeze fee every month. Attempted to work it out amicably with owner but greed took over. No honesty, integrity or ethics at this Club Pilates (Valencia, CA). DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD! They have charged my card several times for full amount (after giving them a written notice of cancellation after the initial three month contract) and they have had to reverse the money back onto the card. However, they keep charging my card a freeze fee every month despite not signing any freeze contract. My account had been overdrawn a couple of times when this has occurred. They do not care. And to add icing on the cake, the Sales Manager asked me to write her a letter saying her dogs are emotional support animals so she won't have to pay a dog deposit fee to the own of her residence. I am very new to this whole exercise thing. LOL I am 50 years old, I do have a background of medical issues and disabilities. However, I do need to say that the people that are in the Valencia Club Pilates are the nicest and most accepting people ever. Clients and instructors. They moderate, they pay attention to where you're at and what you need in the middle of an exercise without making you feel awkward, and all around awesome. I spent many years quitting gyms and giving up on exercise because I live in Los Angeles and let's just face it, judgment is real. But, I am really happy that I found this place. read more

I signed up two months before covid and I will say the instructors I did take a class with were nice and helpful, however once covid started I froze my account because they started charging me for online classes that to be honest were not as effective as in person. I had to cancel a few months ago just because it was too expensive to me for how often you are actually able to go. I was able to find a better deal elsewhere. When I went to cancel in person. The owner/manager (blonde woman) was very rude and made me feel bad and uncomfortable throughout the whole process. Word of advice if you'd like people to eventually come back to your business have more empathy and a better attitude. Will not be coming back. read more

I love Club Pilates in Valencia. The instructors are each motivational, careful and make working out fun. I was hesitant to pursue group Pilates as I had been spoiled by the individual attention in physical therapy. But I could not have been more wrong in my hesitation. I only wish that I had begun at Club Pilates sooner. The workouts are designed to accommodate a range of fitness levels. The instructors give correction to bad form throughout the classes and offer a variety of options to make exercises more or less challenging depending on what you are capable of on any given day. The entire staff is friendly and encouraging regardless of how in shape, out of shape, fancy or frumpy we are. It has been a life-changer for me to regularly work out at Club Pilates! read more

Took a free intro workout at the request of Alyssa there about a week ago, only because she takes classes there as well (always a good sign when someone that works somewhere uses the product when they don't have to). I started coming here because I had low back pain and needed a strong core. I absolutely loved it and even got my mom to join! She is so over the hiit workouts so this was perfect for her. I love hiit classes so I'm grateful club Pilates has that as an option. I've been so sad it's been closed during covid so I'm happy they are back open with safe protocols in place.
