Update! I became an unlimited member after initially doing drop in classes because I loved the classes so much that I cannot imagine not doing yoga every single week! I never know my schedule since it revolves around my children and their sports so as a member I can go to any class. As a result, I've discovered classes I wouldn't normally have chosen--I love the Strong back, Soft heart class--so therapeutic and gentle. Great for anyone with chronic pain or those who want to work on mobility...or just need to reconnect and get grounded. I still enjoy my flow classes and also loved the yoga wall class! I also appreciate the teachings Dani is leading us through each week with the 8 Limbs of Yoga--they focus on how to live purposefully and fully. So happy to be in this community. read more

I honestly love Yoga Yoga. I started coming here to help with chronic pain, and it's made such a big difference for me. I feel better, move better, and overall just less tense. The vibe is super welcoming and not intimidating at all, which I really appreciate. Such a wonderful place! I joined a year ago and love all the classes I've tried- of which there is a great variety of flow, strength, therapeutic (my fave!), and beginner classes, including classes with the yoga wall and restorative yoga with a sound bath! The studio provides all necessary props and all you need to bring is your yoga mat. The front staff is so welcoming and the teachers are amazing- each has a different style but all are accommodating of variations and different skill levels of the students. I highly recommend the therapeutic/back care class! I used to constantly pull the muscles in my neck and after I joined this studio I haven't had a stiff/pulled neck in months. I feel like I've joined a community and I have so much fun going here, whether to challenge myself physically or come for relaxation and peace. read more

I have been to several yoga studios in SCV and this is by far my favorite. I have been coming here for two years. The instructors are knowledgeable, caring, and supportive. The studio is small and intimate with a very friendly vibe. There are classes for beginners, experts, and everything in between. I had a very disheartening visit to Yoga Yoga today and I will never be back again. It was my second visit to the studio. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and use Yoga as a reset and form of therapy. I had a teacher named Dani who approached me regarding my medication. It was very unprofessional and very assuming. Even more, she was incorrect about her assumption. She threatened to not start class. It was very uncomfortable. I didn't have the time to explain HIPA regulations for which she was surely violating. Not sure if this will end here because I definitely feel as though my Civil Rights were violated. read more

I went to Yoga Yoga last month, and it was wonderful. It was a few weeks after I lost my house in the recent Eaton Canyon fire, so you can imagine my headspace. Dani taught a beautiful therapeutic class that allowed me to consciously move through my practice. There was pranayama, periods of stillness, and after class was the first time I felt a lightness in quite awhile. The space itself is beautiful, and I felt like I'd taken a trip out of town to Sedona or someplace like that. There is a carefully curated store in the lobby filled with yogic products that were so pretty. I bought four things! If you need to find a gift for someone this is a great place to shop. Mostly, Dani is an incredible teacher, highly skilled and heartfelt. I look forward to practicing again. If I lived up there I'd practice with Dani all the time. Been going here for over a year and the classes never disappoint! Dani the new owner is amazing and truly cares for her students and their safety. All the instructors here are excellent at teaching yoga sequences. I always learn something new each time I take a class here. On top of that, the shala is amazing! There's something about the energy inside the shala that just brings a sense of peace and good aura. Highly recommend taking yoga classes here! This review is for the Saturday Tai Chi class, taught by Manak. He is a happy person and a gentle teacher who lead our class through a variety of Tai Chi movements after opening with a little bit of Chi Gong (which he says goes with Tai Chi like peanut butter and jelly). Manak gave instructions while also demonstrating all movements, guided us through movements a few times before moving on, and then we'd work through the whole flow. Even as a beginner I was able to keep up. This was a positive class experience. read more

I started taking Yoga classes a few years ago due to medical issues. The pandemic struck, and the studio I used to go to, went out of business. Virtual classes were the only option during that time. Dani (the owner of Yoga Yoga) started to offer virtual classes (she still does), but it was just not for me. I like interaction and being in the studio with other people around me. I took a break from the practice and because of that, it took a toll on my health. I knew Yoga Yoga was the perfect place if I decided to go back to practice. I just love how friendly and nonintimidating the place is and the practices. There are a lot of studios in LA that can feel competitive, rushed, and purely workout-focused. I still received the workout I wanted, but I also felt a deeper sense of connection.
