Their technique is a blend of many masters from India. They don't play music in any of the classes, but instead they fill the air with mantras and other beautiful sounds. The class is not rushed at all and their attentiveness to your practice is very present. I really love the location of this studio, it's very serene and cozy. She is incredibly knowledgeable about yoga and the body. Her wisdom and welcoming energy made me feel right at home when I first came to the studio a couple of years ago. She understands how to balance a class for those new to yoga but also offers advanced adjustments for those farther along their yoga journey. It's important to trust your instructor as they guide you through moving your body in various poses that you aren't typically doing. And it's very clear that Pam not only has vast knowledge of yoga, but understands the human body so well. Whenever my husband or I have tweaked something in our bodies, the solution is "We gotta go see Pam!" And sure enough, she always knows exactly what to do. Pam's restorative classes are definitely her speciality, but I enjoy her power classes just as much! I've gotten stronger physically and mentally with her guidance.
