The door guy was rude, made us uncomfortable, and gave us generally bad vibes, the dj played terrible music for dancing (imagine 70's disco), and the staff acted like they were doing everyone a favor just by being there. The girlfriend loves to dance, and they have a great dance floor and the hosts are great. However she hates the music . A large amount of the songs are gangster rap. A little is OK, but it's " slap the bitch, shoot the pig", over and over. These events are 5 star. When they have special parties (NY Eve, Halloween) the music is great. After being a member for 10+ years, Princeton still disappoints. Event fees seen on the website suddenly skyrocket at the door. Very recently took a date, and the event fee on the website for a couple was $65. Expensive, but okay. When we go there, the price (through the left hand not knowing what the right was doing) suddenly became $95 as they charged us each separately (I paid $75 as a single male, although I walked in with a date.) I chose not to ruin HER evening, as it was her first time, I said nothing and waited until the next day to email my displeasure at this seemingly "bait and switch" tactic. I asked for a $30 credit toward a future event, and suggested they could have solved this problem on the spot, because I had copies of the the emails where I specifically asked about our entrance fee. Long story short, the owner got offended that I dared to complain. He agreed to refund the membership I had just paid for, along with an event fee for Halloween I'd paid in advance, finished by telling me that I was "no longer welcome there". Moral of the story: Princeton's owners don't know what good customer relations means. If you complain, they take offense, and end the conversation by telling you that you're no longer welcome at the club. Instead of making things right and keeping a long time member, they chose to loose revenue because the owner got butt hurt by me calling them out on poor business practices. In the end, I was refunded all fees, which were immediately used for the PlayChampagne hotel takeover in Cincinnati. I only came back to Princeton (with hesitation) in the first place because Champagne was run out of Ft. Wayne. I was gladly driving 3 hours to attend a much better, award-winning venue. Went here for my birthday. Also happened to be the clubs anniversary. When signing up for a membership the person emailing me was rude and unprofessional. Should've been my first red flag. Got there and the guy at the door and front desk lady were cool. The bartender was possibly the rudest b-word I've ever met! Had we not spent so much to get in I would have DEFINITELY got put out because of her. We were given a tour by a really nice lady I think her name was Morgan. Met some regulars and for the most part had a good time! There was another worker who "watched us" the entire night. Never got her name but I did complain about her to another worker who basically just told us to ignore her. All in all, with the exception of those 3 blemishes, the club is really nice. A lot of areas were closed due to remodeling I guess. But all in all it wasn't.... bad. Mixed crowd. Great music. But I wont be returning!! A lifestyle club should be fun and comfortable. My first time to Princeton was this last Saturday and I was very very impressed with this Club, especially after visiting others in Columbus (which I won't be going back to anymore lol) The staff was super friendly and server as well. Love, love this club! If you are want to enjoy a night out while living the lifestyle, this club is where you want to be! Owners are there and super friendly and assist whenever you have questions, etc. They definitely make you feel safe and discreet while attending the club. It's a great mixture of age groups and the music is great! I promise if you haven't attended yet you definitely should! My husband and I have been attending for over a year now and prefer only this club! We have went to the other lifestyle clubs here in Columbus and didn't like them at all!!!! The vibe and people here at the club is just different than the rest. For instance, Club Champagne feels like the members all have their own 'clicks' and if they don't know you, they don't try to either. Club Princeton is clean , safe, and full of like minded people. I know many people at first think it's full of people having orgies and worry they will be grabbed or made uncomfortable. However it is nothing like that. Cleanliness is a must, I mean let's face it we want to get dirty but not like filthy. As a first timer a tour is given and this is to explain what to expect in the club and what to do if you should play. Knowing that there is staff to come in and clean each play area is amazing. BYOB is clearly stated on the site so we all know how we can be on the heavy side of making our own drinks so cleaning up is not really on the mind when one has had some fun. No worries long as you remember to pull the sheet witch you are taught in the tour then poof staff pop in clean up and it's all fresh for the next round. Safety is a bonus, many do not realize that a back ground check is given to each member for OUR protection. If someone entering has been convicted of a sexual charge, a violent act, or distributing drugs and I'm sure others I'm leaving out then I most definitely wouldn't want to be partying openly with them. Nice as they might be I am not risking it. I always feel completely safe while in Club Princeton, no man or women should ever be groped or grabbed at with out being spoken to. We are adults enjoying our sexual likes and safety and respect is a must. If ever anyone has crossed the line they are simply removed. I am not a fan of single men, let me explain. Single men tend to have much higher expectations on playing as some expect it and to be honest if I want a single male I can snag any man at any regular bar! It's not hard ladies so don't act like you would like a bunch of them running in a swingers club. Simply bag you one at the bar get him cleared and bring him with you. It's the perfect set up anyways, you can ride him there and send him home with out him being able stock your house later! It does cost to get in and the big parties are more, but there is a reason, it's a PRIVATE CLUB. Enough said right there, Plenty of privet clubs all over do the same, they too have yearly and monthly dues. Ask your parents if your confused. Club Princeton does not charge for mixers, ummm that's more room in my bag for Booz if I don't have to pack a mixer. Red Bull and water is a charge but again we can pack our own and it's like a dollar for water so what, I paid more at a high school basketball game! Oh before I forget a DJ is always there to keep the dance floor full if you don't like what is on, he takes requests!!!! I know that don't happen at many bars you listen to what they want or leave. CP's DJ will play what you ask and just like all DJ's he does so off tips. After paying a membership ( to protect yourself and for someone to clean up after you ) paying for the nights events ( food is always at mega party's that's not free for the club so help out and don't be greedy) and tossing a few bills at the DJ for my favorite songs is still cheaper then going to any regular club in Columbus. If you are thinking of going be open minded if you leave not having had a good time then you didn't meet me . I've come here several times as a sort of novelty experience, and always like watching my more innocent friends reactions when I take them along with me. It is a swingers club, so you never know who might be getting freaky around the corner. The crowd is mostly older (40s) and overweight (so keep your expectations low). Usually people there are pretty polite, but occasionally you get some aggressive creepy dudes who cross the line. The facilities are fairly nice, the building is large and it can be fun to explore all the different themed rooms- like the doctor's office, voyeur rooms, motorcycle room, etc. They have indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and a large multi person shower. The dance floor is fun and there's a couple of stripper poles that anyone can try out. Clothing is optional, although most people are either clothed or in lingerie in the main areas. Not at all what is advertised. Me and my wife visited just for fun. Bunch of single creepy men sitting around the bar staring at us. Business casual attire must be jeans and a t-shirt cause that's all we saw. Maybe saw one other couple. My wife said we could of went in sweat pants and flip flops and still been over dressed. Just yuck!!!!!!!! Felt dirty just for going in the place. Felt unsafe and single men every where just following us around. People have too many pre conceived notions as to what Club Princeton is. Yes, it is a swingers club but that does not sum up the club in its entirety. My wife and I have been to the club many times and LOVE it! Let me stat for the record, we are NOT swingers. We don't judge those that are, we just choose not to. We do enjoy experimenting with each other and enjoy a little exhibitionism. We can cut loose, dirty dance and I can even feel up my wife while we dance and not a single person looks at us like we're disgusting or inappropriate. We can be free to watch live porn, walk around naked, pleasure each other in full view of others etc... All without being looked down on or judged. In essence, Club Princeton provides a safe, clean environment that allows even a normal monogamous couple like us to keep the intimacy in our marriage alive and exciting! The decor is great compared to any normal night club. The DJ's always try to play what is current and popular and will gladly take requests. As for the staff, they have always been top notch and friendly and always try to make everyone welcome and relaxed. Of course there are always a few guests that may not have as much class as others, but that happens no matter where you go.
