I don't know if people come to Yelp mostly to write bad reviews and try to be comedians or what. But I'm pretty dismayed at how the terrible reviews (unfair terrible reviews IMO) got all the helpful votes. My Girlfriend and I have been in the lifestyle for about ten years and have been Sapphire members since just after they opened. We have been to clubs in half a dozen other states and other countries. In our opinion, Sapphire is well run, clean, and safe. I'll get the only somewhat valid complaint out of the way first. Yes, sometimes the DJs are not the best (or the music in the playrooms). Occasionally they are just not good. Suffice to say we don't go to Sapphire to dance. The complaints about it being a dry club are out of date and flat wrong. It is BYOB once again and they provide mixers for your hard liquor. They keep your bottle on a shelf for you. This makes for a pretty economical night as the mixers are free. There was a time when the club was dry thanks to our puritan State Liquor Control Board. But the 2024 "Strippers Bill of Rights" fixed that. There's a Total Wine and more about five minutes away if you forget. There are some snacks provided but nothing fancy. So have dinner before you go. The club is clean. After you are finished playing, pull up the corner of the sheet and the volunteers will change it, which they do regularly. There are towels and lockers provided. You can rent or buy a lock or bring your own. Yes there is an orientation so come early (around 8:00) for your first visit. The couple who thought it was hilarious admitted to being newbies. There are rules and social norms to a club that your parents probably didn't teach you and that most newbies can benefit from. It doesn't take long in any case. It's an adult club. Adults will have no big issues withthe orientation. Yes there are older people around (50-60s). If that freaks you out Sapphire (or lots of other clubs and resorts) may not be for you. There are also people with all types of bodies. Likewise if you are grossed out if someone isn't super fit. You might get people meeting either of these descripions who will express interest in you. No one will be offended by a "Thanks but no thanks." Frankly saying "no thanks" with tact is a vital skill in the lifestyle. But if the idea of this freaks you out, Sapphire may not be the right place for you. You will have a much better time if you can meet and chat with people who you aren't attracted to physically without anxiety about sending the wrong message. You will find most people can take a gentle hint. Lastly Singles: Single dudes: If you want to have any success, dress well, smell good, be outgoing and bring some game. Otherwise it will not be fun for you. Single women are likely to get lots of attention but will be very safe. We have met a number of women who do not play but just come to dance, socialize and dress sexy/slutty without worrying about being groped on the way to the restroom (final note, there are extra restrooms straight in front of the entrance door outside the lobby). For the ragtag assemblage of those who are a part of "the lifestyle", I'm sure Club Sapphire satisfies, but for the rest of us who are curious about trying something new, read on: My wife and I are mid-thirties, attractive, and first-timers at a club like this. We wanted a night of mindless fun, but instead we laughed the whole night through. Based on the stock photos on their promo brochures, you think this is going to feel like a Bruce Wayne after-party, but then you get there and it's more like Commissioner Gordon's retirement party. They shuffle newcomers into a tiny room where you watch a 12 minute introductory video on everything from consent to where the bathroom is. The movie's narrators had the tone of a Disney World ride attendant reminding you to keep your arms inside the log flume at all times. I was waiting for Minnie Mouse to come out in bondage gear and point to the fire exits, her polka-dotted handcuffs dangling from her sore wrists after a night of consensual fun that had Mickey forcing her on all fours to drink out of Goofy's water bowl. After the movie is the walking tour of the play rooms where I found myself politely remarking on the stash of lubes as if it was a marble kitchen countertop at an open house. The play rooms were clean enough at the pre-coitus hour of 9pm, but I was never quite clear on when/if sheets were getting changed between each session. Then there's the people. The problem with public swinger parties in general is that there's no one culture with these events: everyone's having their own party. There's the husband seeing his wife let loose for the first time in 10 years; there's the pack of thirty-something bros reeking of weed looking to lend their tool out to a hotwife and then later brag about it to their friends; there's the geriatric crowd who are so unrestrained at their age, I almost couldn't take my eyes off of them slurping each other's faces like children at an ice cream truck. All this is to say no one really welcomed us after the formal introduction. You'd think with the customer loyalty from a service like this, they'd treat first timers like religious recruits, but it was very much "fend for yourself." The club space left a lot to be desired: the dance floor felt like a high school graduation party replete with everything from the Party City lighting kit to your high school math teacher (vaguely ironed Azure-blue dress shirt, serial killer vibes) dancing off-beat and lecherously alone. At one point, I could've sworn Cotton Eyed Joe was playing. Astonishingly, the club has a no liquor policy (but beer is somehow still allowed) which made the night a non-starter for me; to make matters worse, the bartenders had the least-sexual energy of any of us. We left after an hour or so, completely amused and not the slightest bit aroused. Bottom line: if you're a moderately attractive, kink-positive young couple looking to start swinging, build a private network off the swinger/dating apps. This club will do to your loins what public wifi does to your laptop. read more

It's a dry club. No alcohol at all. People are coupled and they allow a couple of single guys to attend each event. Much older crowd with older tastes in regards to music and style. I've been to clubs in Nevada, California, and Germany, this was the sleepiest lamest club I have ever attended. Sorry it was just not for us. read more

WOW!!! What an amazing establishment. My wife and I had an amazing experience! It was our first time, so we were nervous about what to expect, and WOW! The staff is exceptionally kind, caring and protective of ALL who come. When we told one of the volunteers, Michael R., that this it was our first time, he spent the entire night showing us around and being our personal protector to ensure that my wife felt absolutely comfortable. If you are all all nervous about coming for your first time, then worry not! The first 2 rooms are essentially a wonderful and exciting club experience, were it's just dancing, talking and relaxing. Then, if you are feeling comfortable and ready to explore, you can journey to the back for an entirely different experience. There are a lot of staff & volunteers that ensure that each person's personal space is respected and they are always within calling distance if you were to ever feel uncomfortable. The club members were also so wonderful! My wife and I felt like we were so loved and at peace. Ignore any review that says anything bad about this place, because it exceeded all of my expectations! read more

Took the wife tonight. We left early. The music was mediocre. A few good danceable songs thrown in here and there. The energy was off, not sexy or sexual just blahhhh. The single guys where creepy and old. I'm 40's saying the other patrons where old. The staff was amazing. The staff where some of the sexist people In the club and the youngest. The drinks where great for NA and the snack bar was cool. The setup was ok. It just didn't feel like a LS club to me. My wife says it just wasn't our crowd. Absolutely killer place. It's dry due to state laws but just party out of your trunk- there will be others. Huge range of ages and body types. Everyone we've met has been so friendly and welcoming and they emphasize the importance on consent every step of the way. There is not tolerance for people being creeps and there are easy to spot helpers/volunteers who will immediately come to help if someone makes you uncomfortable or wont take no for answer. read more

Expected an upscale, safe adult club. This club did NOT meet this expectation at all. We went on four different nights. First was a Saturday, music was okay main area felt comfortable and the feeling that the back area was safe, clean and a place for excitement.. sex seemed realistic. 2nd night Wednesday, music was awful place was empty except for those there only for a gang bang in back. Next was Mardi Gras night. Same music as 1st night (I mean exact), a 21 yr old got in my husband's face pulled up her dress and hulu hoop her privates without consent or respect. 4th night a Saturday last try... started out okay. Music was okay, dancing was fun seemed like it would be like the 1st night. But then a totally nude couple came out to the main area, sat down less than a foot away, and had sex all over tge the seating area. A volunteer came out after they were going at it and asked them to use towels. No one came to clean up If you're into a non-sanitary or a very cheap sex club, this one is right for you. If you want class, intimacy, expectancy don't waste your time or money.
