    On July 18, 2025, I paid Josh $200 upfront for a landscaping job we agreed would total $450. The…read moreagreement was very clear: the balance of $250 would be paid upon full completion of the job, which included mowing, weed-whipping (especially the front), and full brush and debris removal. Josh started the job but never finished it. He made repeated excuses -- including that he hit a pipe, both of his mowers broke down, and that he was waiting on parts. Despite these delays, I stayed patient and respectful. I followed up multiple times, even through someone else, asking when he would finish. I got no response for days. When I finally heard back, instead of offering to complete the job, he demanded full payment upfront and said he wouldn't return until he was paid in full -- despite the work still being incomplete. Brush was left behind. The front was not fully weed-whipped. Yet he's now posting publicly as if I'm the one at fault? Let's be clear: I paid in good faith. I was patient and respectful throughout. The job is not finished. He did not follow through or communicate professionally. Now he's trying to publicly shame a client who held up their end of the agreement. This isn't about money -- it's about accountability and integrity. You don't get to rewrite the terms of a deal after taking payment and not completing your end. Posting online won't change the facts. Finish the job -- then you get paid. NO ONE SHOULD GET PAID 100% FOR ONLY FINISHING 75% OF WHAT WAS AGREED UPON.     I went on here looking for help because I work full-time and run an Airbnb…read more I'm good with house upkeep, but the lawn seems to always be a bit of a problem with me, so I came for estimates. DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! Seriously, I appreciate your hard work.

    This is my second time using this wonderful business and my experience this time was even better…read morethan the last time! I didn't even think it possible to have a better experience than my last experience, but I did. I contacted DLC's through YELP and their response was instantaneous, professional, accommodating and polite. They got my elderly aunt's snow removal scheduled right away, which made it possible for her to get to the doctor. It's not often that you find business owners who are willing go over and above the call of duty time and time again. At DLC's they ensure exemplary customer service. It's so refreshing to know that there are still folks out there who really care. Give them your business and you will be greatly pleased.
