They were like all the staff professional and prolite. Every one did their jobs but made sure i was comfortable and my pain was in control. Donna in financial services was outstanding in helped us understand the financial situation. She deserved employee of the year. Dr. Kristine Danner is the most knowledgeable Dr. I've ever meet. She is friendly but professional. She cares about how the patient is doing overall. She covers all the possibilities of the issue and all the possi bilities of treatment. She also deserves to be employee of the two years. I'd love to have her be my Dr.

NEVER leave a loved one alone in there, because if their heart stops, the staff might not even notice (yes they are being sued for that exact thing) No many how many Daisy Awards a nurse has, it still doesn't make her a good person. And there are BAD Nurses there. Choose a different hospital but if you are forced to use Mercy, make sure that you are never left alone!!

I've been a patient for over 15 years and until recently very happy. It started when we recently…read moretook my daughter in do to chronic hive breakouts. We were given bad information to take her off the over the counter meds that had been making it manageable for her a week before the appointment. She spent a week covered in hives absolutely miserable and missed school because of it. When she went in for the appointment we were told she never needed to be off those meds and that her condition merely needs to be treated aggressively with the meds she had been taking as well as a couple others. That was $240. In the meantime I who have asthma and have had asthma my whole life not to mention have a 15 year history with them treating my asthma had some breathing issues and do to the nature of my job called into work that day. Do to my daughters hive condition as well as other health issues that include seeing a cardiologist, neurologist, as well as the family doctor numerous times I have been forced to miss work plenty this past year. Because of this I wanted to protect my rare absence for myself under FMLA. I am current on my check ups and there is no doubt I have a documented asthma condition that will never be outgrown as is evident after 39 years on this earth. They however refused to fill out the paper work documenting that I have asthma. I did not seek medical attention when I was having problems as in 39 years I've learned how to manage as long as I'm current on my prescriptions and with my daughters medical bills adding up did not wish to make IMO an unnecessary doctors visit. I'm not sure if it was laziness not to be willing to fill out the paperwork or the fact that the 5 minutes it would have taken to protect me from unfair potential discipline from my employer was not worth it to them if it wasn't generating revenue. Either way I'll just let my family doctor take over from here.
