CNY was the only clinic that would give my embryos a chance. I had 2 abnormal embryos and 1 high level mosaic. My local fertility clinic would not transfer them nor would any clinic around me. CNY would. So I had them shipped to CNY. The process was easier than I expected. Everything is done through a portal but I can say my local clinic didn't hold my hand anymore than CNY did in this process. I think most clinics now are like ivf factories so join Facebook groups, or whatever else to find people going through the same thing to lean onto for support. Ultimately out of my 3 embryos I had a chemical pregnancy and 2 that did not take. So while the testing was probably accurate I love that I had the decision to decide with CNY whether I wanted to transfer those embryos or not. read more

Eventually they helped get me pregnant but I had to have 3 failed IUI's before I talked to an actual doctor and they actually looked at my file and bothered to give me a diagnosis. God help you if you get Dr. Kiltz and your whole follow up is a lecture on how you should be eating his cult diet. Also, the billing is so fucking sketchy. Random bills just pop up in your patient portal with ZERO explanation, sometimes when you ask what they are for they mysteriously disappear... That all being said, the office is clean and comfortable, most of the staff are friendly and kind, and over all my experience was positive. I worked with them for my last child and would have given them 3 stars after that because though they were dismissive, uninformed, and nonresposive, I was able to push hard enough to get them to do their job and I had a healthy baby. Now I'm trying again and have been pushing for 6 months. I did one round that they messed up so badly in so many ways and now they just don't respond or respond with answers that don't apply to me. If you call you are on hold for an hour and if you send a message it takes days to hear back. They won't give you any information in advance so you are often left waiting too long and miss necessary steps. They sent me the wrong medication and the anesthesiologist was inappropriate with me while I was awake so who knows what happened when I was under. I think any good reviews were from before my first child. They went down hill so fast in the last couple years that maybe they really were good at one point but not anymore. It looks cheap but you will pay thousands trying to fix their mistakes. read more

I know some have issues with CNY for the fact that you have to advocate for yourself, you see different providers each time you go in and they don't hold your hand through the process but let me lay some other facts on you when considering this clinic. I am someone who is a little chubby and has tattoos & piercings. I tend to have bad experiences with doctors in general who judge a book by its cover. I'm also neurotic and called about a million times with a million questions. NOT ONCE did I have a negative experience with a provider, nurse, receptionist, etc. Not one time did I feel judgement. For me, that's huge. Every single person I encountered was kind and caring. They do not turn away patients based on BMI, history of failure, age, or potential success or failure like most other clinics who only worry about keeping their stats up. CNY's only concern is getting you pregnant. Advocating for yourself seems scary but here's the plus side. They are always willing to listen and try what you want and feel is best for your body. My first retrieval didn't go great. I got three poor quality eggs and none stuck. On my second round they called me to discuss trigger. Despite measures to prevent it, my eggs again grew at different rates. I asked for two more days of stims in hopes the majority would catch up and we got 16 eggs, 14 mature! This brings me to another point. I was able to afford two rounds with virtual ease because their plan is ridiculously affordable compared to every other clinic I found. Here in Seattle, prices for IVF are almost criminal in my opinion but CNY made it so affordable I was able to do two rounds with meds and travel for less than the price of one round in my home state! Long story short, I am pregnant with identical twins after making the decision to travel cross country to go to a clinic that I'd never heard of before and I couldn't possibly be happier with my decision. If I were you, I'd give CNY a shot. Sometimes, when it seems too good to be true it is but in this case, CNY is exactly what the infertility community needs. read more

I cannot rate CNY Fertility a 5 star because they have so many inconsistencies. BUT, I can say the staff in Syracuse is always pleasant. Their office runs mostly on time for pre-transfer treatment, but is always late when going for an IVF transfer. Dr. Kiltz is a warm, gentle man with an amazingly positive attitude. We have worked with him for over a year. Dr. Kiltz believes in a lot of the natural remedies and natural fertility boosters, like yoga and acupuncture. Dr. Greene is the other doctor in the Syracuse office and while he is also amazing, he has a more fact based, scientific approach. They make the perfect balanced pair. I have used their acupuncture services, but haven't noticed any improvement with them. (In Rochester, their satellite, I have had some stability of symptoms with their acupuncturist previously). This isn't going to be your typical white lab coat, sterile environment doctors office. This is more like going to the doctor at a spa. Warm, inviting and tranquil. Do your research before you go to a fertility doctor for statistics and the services provided. You can find this on www.fertilityauthority.com But, for customer service, you will find CNY to be one of the best. I hope you have great results with them. I was seeing Dr. Kiltz over a year ago to see why my husband and I were unable to get pregnant after 2 years of trying. I won't get into detail, but after a year we requested a meeting with the Dr. to discuss our concerns regarding patient care. (Nurses were not the issue) After waiting over 45 minutes for him to come in the room he was short tempered and not at all professional. My husband will take a lot from someone but that was the last time we went to CNY Fertility. I took a year to get off medication, go Gluten Free, and become the healthiest version of myself. Now we are ready to try again... We had an appointment with Boston IVF and everyone including the Doctor was great. I found out CNY had a new Dr. and told my husband Id like to give CNY another chance. Well today at 1230pm was our consult with Dr. Corley. Given the experience we had the last time I was really hoping for a totally different meeting. Well I have nothing to say about Dr. Corley because he never joined us. I waited 45 minutes and still nothing. We left. When we left the "grey" room's door was shut. I certainly hope that the man we were supposed to see wasnt visiting with a patient who arrived after us. I really convinced myself the first time it was a scheduling error. Two times is not a coincidence. CNY is god sent. They made fertility treatment affordable to many people. Dr. Kiltz and Dr. Corley were wonderful, and most of the nurses I worked with were very pleasant and helpful. Not like many other fertility clinics who just care about making money off you, they genuinely want to help you to realize your dream to grow your family. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and willing to try anything to help you succeed. You do have to be your advocate a lot of time. I am giving CNY 4 stars instead of 5 because, because I still don't know the final outcome of our treatment yet. I hope to be able to come back to provide an updated review soon. After a surprising pregnancy that ended in missed miscarriage @ 10 weeks, my partner and I decided to try for a second child to give our son a sibling. Last June, we decided to go to see a reputable fertility specialist at a large local clinic to try IUI. After we completed the fertility work up with blood tests, Ultrasound and semen analysis, the RE told us, IVF would be our best option, due to my age and my partner's low sperm count, and we should be prepared to do 2 to 3 rounds. We were quoted $25K for one round of IVF, so we were looking at $75K for 3 rounds of IVFs with no guarantee of a take home baby. We could not justify to spend that kind of money on fertility treatment, so we decided try IUI with injectable, which would cost $4K per round. As we were prepping for our IUI with injectables, I met a few girls through facebook groups who introduced me to CNY fertility, one of the largest fertility clinic in states that offers affordable fertility treatment. The cost would be around $8K to $12K for one round of IVF with meds and monitoring. I couldn't believe how cheap it was and had questions about whether they were cheap because they didn't offer quality fertility treatment. I was wrong. Despites the fact they never turned down anyone for their age or BMI to make their sart numbers look good, their sart stats were on par or better than some expensive clinics in the country. Many girls had success at CNY after spent lots of $$$ at expensive clinics with no success. After being on the waiting list for several months, I finally had my phone consult with Dr. Kiltz. He was straightforward but warm, he was very compassionate and made you feel very comfortable. He reviewed the medical records and provided a treatment plan. At the same, we found my partner's sperm count and quality had improved significantly after being put on supplements for several months, we were able to start our first cycle the next month. I did my monitoring and blood tests at a local clinic and only flew to NY for egg retrieval. It was actually pretty easy to manage. After 3 rounds IVFs and we were able to bank a good amount of good grade embryos. Unfortunately, our first FET this May failed, we were disappointed but not losing hope as we still have decent amount of good grade embryos on ice thanks to CNY. We are working with the RE to make some adjustments and then hope to start to transfer again until we exhausted all our embryos on ice. worst place i have EVER been to! Yes, it's very beautiful, but they did NOTHING FOR ME! They treated me like i was in a factory. Did not do any previous tests, just an ultrasound. The tech and dr said i only have a fibroid, but we should be ok. I had 2 fresh cycles.... Well, after getting pregnant on the last try, at 7 weeks, the heart stopped beating. When i asked the nurse, where do we go from here, what do i do? She said I DON'T know ask the nurse, that was monitoring you in Buffalo. Like REALLY????? I paid CNY 10,000$ and you can't tell me anything now???? anyway, after some time I had to have a surgery bec. of that "fibroid" bec. it was getting bigger! (forgot to mention when i had the loss, they said the "fibroid" grew to a 4 month pregnancy.)....i was going to have it done robotically, which that's how they started the surgery, then ended up cutting me across (C-Section style) bec. my fibroid wasn't a fibroid! it was a non-cancerous tumor and i was diagnosed with "severe adenomyosis". I was very anemic and had to have 2 blood transfusions and spent 3 days in the hospital. IF THE DR., DID ALL THE TESTS HE NEEDED TO, MAYBE "LAPOROSCOPY" OR SOMETHING, HE WOULD KNOW AND THINGS COULD'VE BEEN DIFFERENT. not to mention that after my DNC, i ended up in the hospital with a huge infection! it was an IVF from hell!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! i guess, they take pride in cases that don't really have big issues. But if you're suffering from something, make sure (if you go to them) you get tested from Head-to-toe! Otherwise, you will be out of $10,000 and like me, with health complications afterwards! This is the third fertility clinic I go to, compare with the two previous ones I went to before. 1. The staff here are so much nicer and helpful. Unlike the greedy and dishonest doctors I went to before, Dr Kiltzs generally wants to help people to get pregnant. 2.His price is so far the most reasonable I can find around the whole nation. and they know their field. Dr Kiltz could charge so much more for his experience, he doesn't because he wants to help people like us who suffer from infertility. Reasonable price does not always mean poor service, they CARE. 3. They are patient with you, and they will listen to all your questions and concerns without getting irritated. 4. They don't turn down hard cases (woman who are harder to treat than usual) just for success rate, and their success rate is still as high or higher than most other clinics in the whole nation. 5. They are honest about everything, and you know exactly what is going on all the time. They have a patient portal online you can directly communicate with anybody in the office, and you can get reply within 24 hours. You can check your blood test result and ultrasound result any time you want. 6. They have a phone line you can call 24-7, which is really convenient for out of town patient. And as a patient, you can get Dr Kiltz's personal phone number for emergency (which was impossible for me to get my previous two doctors' contact information), and he always replies really fast. Long appointment and phone wait times. Plan on a minimum of 45 minutes of waiting for each appointment and phone call to clinical staff (most appointments are a longer wait). Been given incorrect information from nurses on the phone several times. Calls should be going to nurse practitioners or doctors who have the credentials to provide information and proper care. After having two IUIs and being treated for 4 months, still haven't met with or seen a doctor present at the facility. read more

If I could give CNY 100 stars, I would. In April of 2017 after years of trying to have a baby, my husband and I received news that no couple wants to hear, "IVF May be your only option to have a baby." I distinctly remember trying to hold in my emotions in the dr office and trying to control myself from shaking. Heartbreaking wasn't even the best way to describe this moment, it was complete devastation. After receiving my husbands sperm analysis it was calculated that we would have less than a 1% chance of conceiving naturally. We did end of conceiving naturally once but miscarried early on. After the reality of the situation set in, I went into action mode. I joined every ivf Facebook group I could find and began researching the best place for us to do our ivf. My husband and I both have good jobs, but both work for small business that do not offer ivf coverage in their medical packages so cost was definitely a concern. I live in Southern California and majority of the clinics out here run anywhere from 20-40k for one round. So many women kept recommending CNY and said they were way more Afordable. We booked a phone consult with dr. Kiltz for September 5th of 2017. He was so kind and answered all of my questions. He made me laugh and gave me so much hope and made my heart feel a little less shattered. After reviewing finances we decided to proceed with CNY. By September 30th I was in NY doing my egg retrieval. We were able to get 11 eggs and got a fertilization report of 9 fertilized embryos. We decided to do PGS testing which tells us gender as well as any abnormalities. We ended up with 4 very strong embryos. 1 boy and 3 girls. We proceeded with our strongest girl embryo. October 24th 2017 we transferred our baby. 5 days later I had a positive pregnancy test! My baby is now 5 months old and the light of our lives. I can't thank CNY enough for making our dreams a reality. We will return for future embryo transfers when we are ready to grow our family. I can't say enough good things about CNY Fertility. I was originally referred to them because I have a big septum down the middle of my uterus and they were going to remove it. Before the surgery, I found out I was pregnant. My primary OB/GYN office wouldn't see me before 12 weeks, even with my funky uterus (srsly, what is that). CNY got me into their office and did weekly prenatal check-ups until I transferred over, even though that is NOT their job. They were so amazing and accommodating, I really can't say enough positive things! The other thing I will say is that they are fantastic at taking into consideration that often their patients drive from out of town to visit them. For my very first consultation (pre-pregnancy, just about the uterus), they were able to stack a bunch of procedures that very first day so I wouldn't have to keep making trips back up. Emergency call was very poorly handled (couldn't contact office for a long time), and office is unprofessional all around. First they tell me I owe a certain amount for copay, which I always paid before service, then they call me and say "You owe us $850.00". Luckily they were wrong, but I would not have paid for that if they hadn't bothered to warn me ahead of time of the cost. So unprofessional! This last visit it has been over a week ago, and I am STILL waiting for the provider to return my calls and order my medication. They told me they would "send m,e an email for what med they wanted me take"...ya right! Simply put, don't waste your time and money here. The concept of the office is wonderful (natural remedies, yoga, and Chinese medicine), perhaps I should have waited for Dr Kiltz (instead of getting a quicker appointment with the other providers)? read more

We couldnt have done this without the inhouse financing. My only one wish was that they had 1 assigned nurse instead you get someone different everytime. On a positive note, the facility is breath taking - absolutely beautiful and they offer MANY nice amenities. On a very negative note, the front desk staff and staff that answer the phones could not be more rude - incredibly condescending, mean, short, and not at all helpful. When you're gong through a stressful process...or on a good day when you're so excited to make an appointment for a pregnancy test and you encounter constant rude staff, it's frustrating. I don't care how pretty this place is, the "front line" staff is terrible. They are also terrible with communication - do not return phone calls, and for some reason their fax machine never works correctly. read more

The ONLY issues I've had are the inconsistencies with nurses. Dr. Kiltz has been available to answer any questions I've ever had in a timely manner, even after hours. There are no words that can be put on paper on how wonderful this place has been to my husband and I so far....they are amazing. Top-notch medical care, knowledgeable medical staff on all levels, thorough explanations, they take their time and full attention to both of us, together and individually, have an amazing balance with cutting edge western medicine and traditional eastern medicine. So many different "other" approaches are also offered...acupuncture, massage, yoga---all fertility centered. It is incredibly clean and organized, and everyone goes above and beyond to help you and work in tandem...right down to front desk staff. You are given an excellent book on your first visit. All of your patient care results you can access online, you can communicate with them online, they are so thorough I cannot say enough. (And I am a healthcare provider.). I am fully covered here with tricare prime w/exception of IUI and IVF, but all procedures, labs, meds, workups have been cost-free. My husband and I have been going to CNYFertility in Syracuse for a year and a half and have had many different instances that have caused us serious stress. We have already pre-paid for our treatments or else we would definitely not be going back. I have heard and read about other people's experiences being positive and I and happy for them but for the life of me I can not understand how that would be possible. Here are a few reasons but there are many more not mentioned: At one of our first visits the PA rollled her eyes when we answered her questions. I thought I had mistaken it but my husband mentioned it the minute we got outside so we both saw it. We have had three failed IUI's, the first of which was a nurse's fault. We went through the meds (which we paid full price for) and my husband was supposed to go out of town for work. After my bloodwork and ultrasound on Wednesday I asked her, "by the looks of my results is it safe to let my husband leave town for a few days?" She said, "yes, absolutely, nothing will happen this weekend." Being our first time I trusted what she said considering it was so new to us. On Friday they called and told me to come in the next day, which was pointless considering we were missing a big ingredient. I was so upset and she denied it of course. During my first IVF which was last month we were in the procedure room and I was about to be put under, the Embryologist asked if we had any questions about the paperwork we signed and I asked her what ICIS was exactly because that was the first time we had heard of it. She was floundering and searching for a way to answer. So much so that my always jovial husband told her never mind he would Google it in his phone. Then the next day when I got the call that my egg wasn't usable I started to get emotional and the nurse on the other end said "well you can try again if you want...good luck". I felt very blown off. Today we were supposed to have a conference call with the Dr. after waiting about a month and which was already rescheduled by the office. My husband at his work and me at mine had to rearrange our schedules to be available and when we called we were told the Dr was addressing other patients "that were more important since they were in the office" and their day ends at 4:00pm so we have to reschedule. Very unprofessional! I feel they have added a great deal of stress to an already stressful situation and would not recommend them to anyone. There are a few good nurses there but I can count them on three fingers. I dread any more contact with them as they have made us feel like a paycheck to them. I am not looking forward to our last IVF as I have no faith in "the experts". Finally they end all calls/conversations with "my pleasure", dont they realize we know they are told to say that and now it has lost all meaning? This clinic was our personal nightmare! They were inconsistent, did not listen to our issues, and we wasted months trying to get pregnant before they finally decided to try something else to fix the problem that we went in with initially. The nurses, for the most part, were very nice. Although, I did have one nurse says something so offensive that we decided to never return. The staff is exceedingly perky and upbeat on the surface, but the truth is that it is all an act to cover the fact that they do what they want and what they want involves getting as much money from you as possible before they decide to actually tackle the real issues and get started actually trying to help. If you are willing to throw money at falsely cheerful people for a few months and wait patiently for them to decide to do something, then by all means, this is the clinic for you. But, if you prefer open, honest doctors who are ready to get down to work, then you need to look elsewhere. Buyer beware!!!! read more

I do not have enough good things to say about CNY fertility . I wish more of the ladies I follow on the FB group CNY girls would post reviews so others could see what an amazing facility this is. I am a travel client meaning I monitored in my home state and then traveled to NY to have my egg retrieval and transfer . The first thing I noticed is I felt like I mattered, they were enthusiastic and positive and the energy was just amazing. It felt like a spa instead of a doctor office. I felt like I was a person and not just a number. The communication on the portal and by phone were always very easy and open. I never felt like I had a question that couldn't be answered. All the travel nurses are sweet. I love that they offer acupuncture right in house and its such a relaxing and calming experience. They only charge 3900 for IVF and compared to here in NC thats only 1/4 the cost. I never once felt like I was cared for in NC from my old clinic but at CNY I felt like they truly cared. After years of infertility I can finally say I am pregnant and I can't thank CNY enough ! I will encourage other ladies to share their story because all too often only people that want to complain post reviews and thats truly sad because this facility needs to celebrated.
