The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and they tend to have more tills available than can sometimes be found in the larger supermarkets so queuing is minimal, even during busy periods. Due to the size, seasonal stock (Easter/Christmas gifts etc) are limited but they tend to rearrange the store and squeeze in as much extra stock as possible.

The staff are all incredibly friendly, and the shelves are well stocked with goods. There are the normal offers as you would expect from a Sainsbury's, and unlike some supermarkets they ensure that the shelves doe contain the items on offer. Outside the store there is a large carpark, which you do have to pay to use however you get this back off your shopping providing you spend over a certain amount (I think it's £5.00), so basically you are guaranteed it back. A great supermarket where you can normally get everything you need for your grocery shopping, as well as a bit of a treat from the clothing range.

If you want a mega-sized supermarket then this is the one closest to town centre. It has little variety of products. Mostly just own brands. In the evening especially, you wil find it difficult to get around the store because most passages will be blocked with piles of boxes and carts. Asda, being a generally fairly good value chain, usually is full of good offers. This particular store just feels more pricey, possibly for the lack of choice.

You can't miss it as the Road it's located on (Larkswood) is the most direct road to West Dyke road - a pretty main road within this particular housing area. It's a very small Sainsburys shop and only tends to sell the basics - it's more of a corner shop than a full blown supermarket. There's a selection of ready made sandwiches in the fridge at the front and they do sell papers and the lottery. There's also a place to put electricity on the meter if you need some (a thing I discovered quite recently). There can be some good offers - last christmas they were selling bucks fizz off for £2 a bottle. The staff are all really polite and while it might not always be too cheap as it's not a big store so they don't have too many discounts, it's the perfect little corner store. There's also a mini bank outside if anyone needs cash. Parking is free though limited but the car park never gets full.

This Co-op offers a good basic selection of foods, household goods and small electricals. Open…read moreuntil 8pm weekdays and a good place to pop into late afternoon onwards as their reduced for quick sales section (much of it in the chiller cabinet on the left-hand side, next to the deli) offers amazing bargains. Today, Brie 35p, and recent purchases, melons 25p, chilled marscapone sauce 10p. Often these things are suitable for freezing so you don't have to eat them on the day of purchase. Lots of special offers that run for a few weeks - for instance their Fairtrade medium ground coffee has been £1. Look for these on the end of aisles. Annoyingly, they often stock products only for a special offer period and then they're gone from the shelves! Good selection of wines, including Fairtrade wines - in fact the range of Fairtrade foods including seasonal fresh fruit, is very good for the size of shop. I find the staff friendly but often not enough of them on the checkouts. Also stocks newspapers.
