A decent Co-Op Food branch located on Northenden Road, they seem to have packed a lot into a small store, which is good until you consider how narrow the aisles are which means it can be difficult to get around at times, especially when considering you'll likely see the strangest combinations of items next to each other.
They seem to have retained the older branding, rather than the new Co-Op logo/colour scheme as you go into the store, something which is pretty rare now but an interesting point.
They had an extensive range of products but a small range from within that product, such as tea and coffee, and also fresh fruit and vegetables, pretty ample for a small store.
I would like this store better if there was slightly more room to get around the store, as when the staff are unpacking during the day, the shopping experience can become difficult and a little hectic, but it isn't a bad store either, although I do prefer their branches in the city centre of Manchester. 3* read more
