This is a great place for those forgotten items and last minute purchases, but is too expensive for doing a big shop. It has recently been revamped and I have to say it needed it. It is now light and fresh and easy to find things. The staff are always friendly and helpful and they have some great offers on the beer and groceries. The reason I only give it 3 stars is because they are very expensive for most things. read more

The shop has been recently refurbished which makes the shop look bigger and more modern. As already mentioned, the prices are more expensive than other local shops such as Tesco which has two stores not far from this store. The staff are friendly and there are sometimes some good offers on which are clearly advertised in the window. The parking outside isn't always convienient as there aren't any outlined spaces and at busy times can be a bit hectic. read more

I moved to the lovely town of 'Leafy Lytham', just coming up to 2 years ago. The Co-Op Late Shop was, I agree, handy but expensive. However, what a transformation, since the revamp and new signage etc. There have been continued improvements with staff changes and plenty of great offers if you care to spend that little bit of extra time studying the stock on the shelves. The best improvement has been made in the last five or so months since the new Manageress, has taken charge of the store. The whole atmosphere has changed as well as the availability of new and varied products and the staff are a great crew. With Robin and Theresa at the helm and the recent promotion of young men who are a credit to their generation, it is now my favourite convenience store in the town. Prices are far more competative and as a person who objects to shopping at the greedy conglomerates like Tesco, it is a joy to shop here. I used to do my weekly shop in Blackpool at Morrissons but have found I can shop locally here and receive a personal and friendly service, where no request is too much trouble....and save petrol and the dreaded hassle of large supermarket madness. Well done to you all and keep up the good work! read more
