A good place to get basics that you might have run out of as there is rarely a queue. They sell both branded as well as their own branded food and drink (bread and cereals, fruit and vegetables and canned items, coffee and tea etc). As the previous reviewer mentioned, they do have some offers but they are still more expensive than those of the large Tesco store, situated nearby. However, many of their own brand products are fairtrade so the higher prices are to be expected. read more

A small shop in the heart of potters bar, with an emphasis of covering all angles rather than true quality or price. There is a descent selection of magazines and newspapers, as well as food and drink. As per most Co-op's there are a few deals which are worth their value, although not enough to warrant a huge shop. Locally only the Co-op an Tesco offer the National Lottery although there is less of a wait at Co-op. Even though there are only 2 tills in this store there is still enough staff on the till and in and around the store to help with any question so it still retains the feel of a local village store without the very crazy prices or outdated stock. read more
