We had to take a detour back south from Prince Albert National Park instead of continuing to northern Manitoba. We were sad we'd lose a few hours of driving time so we decided to phone a few places in Prince Albert and booked a late afternoon appointment. By chance, we decided to stop in the first shop we didn't call to see way their wait time was. The owner told us we could come back right after lunch (perfect, we were going to eat anyway) and they'd take a look once mechanics were back from their break. We couldn't see or hear anything in the tire so we were expecting to have to replace the two rear tires (if you don't know, you can't replace one tire if there's less than ¾ of the tread on the opposite tire). Our tires are fairly new and we switch for winter, so they're definitely not worn. The mechanic took us in directly after lunch as promised and quickly found a nail that was hidden. He got us in and out in 20 minutes! The best part was not only the speed, but the price! We paid $25 to fix our tire and we were back to our road trip hours before we expected. If you need reliable, friendly and quick service, this is the place to go!

Bought a string line trimmer, a Stihl FS90r, had it five years , only used it a couple of hours…read moreeach year, just used 125 feet of trimmer line in the five years I've owned it. The timing pin suffered premature wear causing the clylinder head to wear out, repair cost was more than I new trimmer. Though it was out of warranty , Stihl cover the whole cost of the repair. These guys stand behind their products, a big thanks to Joe from Stihl and Doug for doing the repair.

My vehicle was in for recall work, but after I…read morementioned the check engine light was on, they went ahead and charged me the 1/2 hour shop time to also plug into the diagnostics (while it was already in a service bay) and look at a screen. I essentially ended up paying $100 for a quote for changing plugs. That's a good scam they got going there. Watch who you go to for your recall service work. Ford not only has had a lot of f-150 recalls, it looks like their dealers are having to scratch the bottom of the barrel to make a buck.
