On the negative side don't expect any 'smile and greet' as you check in to the restaurant area or as you walk around the store. Not much customer service evident here (lose a point) but the food is good and the 'platter' concept works well and is a bit of a quirky novelty in itself. You have seeds and nibbles with the soup by the way (pic) ! They try hard to only use local produce with the emphasis strongly on organic wholefoods. There is a restriction on the use of credit cards under a certain amount and expect to wait a while as the cash machine tries to communicate on line. Parking is available on site and there is easy disabled access.

A little on the pricey side so don't expect to do your weekly shop there but for the occasional treat it's fine. The café/restaurant serves some nice meals including a few vegetarian and vegan dishes but don't order if you are in a hurry. You will have to wait (and wait). We ordered two coffees and two cakes and had to wait around twenty minutes before we got them. The coffee is insipid and their latte tastes like a glass of hot milk. devoid of any coffee.

Managed to get lots of BOGOF so only ended up spending £23 which if I hadnt taken the offers would have cost over £40. Staff are friendly and always willing to have a chat when its quiet. Good stock of all items.

This means I don't often end up shopping in there although when i do I always have managed to get what I need, although they have sometimes sell out of the basics later in the day. Staff seem friendly and will always help me find something if i cant see it. Self service tills are a little annoying through when they don't work properly. Mine kept complaining there was an unexpected item in the bagging area!

The self-service check-outs are useful in theory, but sometimes they crash or refuse to let you pay, etc- and often it can be a while before a member of staff comes to help you.

There is a cafe, which is probably the only downfall for me as the food isn't brilliant there. I think that the goods are usually good value for money, and the bonus over tesco further down the road is the pharmacy. There's lots of space to move around, and staff are usually pretty helpful.
