Once you sign the contract, that turns out to be a lie. I called to postpone my class, and when I asked for an appointment the next week, they told me my membership had ended--no more classes. So I paid $100 and received nothing just because I couldn't attend two class. This feels like a deliberate scam.

OTF Somerled has literally changed my life!…read more Since the pandemic, I had really let myself go. I was depressed, unmotivated, had zero drive and absolutely no desire to get out of bed to do much of anything. That went on for 3 years!!! I was dreading exposing myself to the world of fitness in the state I was in but knew I needed to get my active life back on track. I have been to so many different fitness centres (the Y, Energy Cardio, Fitness One, MAAA, Nautilus +) and had done countless bootcamp sessions and CrossFit, none of which even compare to what I was about to experience with OTF. Getting back into shape, meant that I would be disappointed with how much my body had changed over the years. I knew I'd need more than just a physical workout. I'd need support, encouragement, advice, structure, and positive reinforcements. Then my sister introduced me to Orange Theory. She said it was exactly what I needed to get my groove back. BOY WAS SHE RIGHT!!! Not only are you encouraged to go at your own pace, but you're also made aware of your progress and the work you are putting in during and after your workouts. It keeps you motivated and on track. The only commitment you are making is to yourself. OTF has a pay per month plan, meaning there are no annual contracts locking you in, and adding unnecessary pressure. So you don't have to worry about biting off more than you can chew. Which helps you set smaller and more reachable goal. If you sign up for a minimum of 3 sessions a week, you also get a FREE heart monitor, tracking your every move, heart beat, and calorie burned. And if you thought that was good, I've got more news. OTF is WORLD WIDE, with multiple fitness centres in every major city. They also have an app compatible with iPhones and Androids, keeping you up-to-date on stats, allowing you to book your sessions directly from your home, and providing you with workout videos you can do from anywhere at any time. And did I mention the 1st SESSION IS FREE? So, if you're looking to make a positive change in your life, and need that extra push from encouraging coaches and a supportive community, OTF Somerled is for you! I promise you won't be disappointed. You think I'm kidding? Just read the reviews. P.S HiiT is highly addictive. Expect to get hooked!

My family and I had a very poor experience with the AMI organization. This continued over a period…read moreof several months and, despite no longer communicating with this organization after an escalated complaint, continue to receive demands for funding several times a year. It began when I sought support for Major Depressive disorder for myself and my family. A suicide attempt garnered a laugh from one of the staff members. After speaking with a suicide hotline and a psychiatrist, we discovered we were not alone in having had bad experiences with this so-called Help organization. Wanting to protect our privacy and also not re-open the wounds and victimization caused by AMI, I will not go into further detail about what happened except to say that there are MANY other choices out there for support. The CMHA, provincial programs (governmental and non-profit) are excellent choices. Do your research and beware of Mental Health groups that offer services that require PAYMENT. In addition, just because they show up near the top in a Google Search is not an indication that they are a bonafide helpful organization. Do your homework and research and know that there ARE many helpful Mental Health and Suicide groups, websites and 24/7 hotlines available. Stay away from this one. We learned the hard way. Beware and feel free to contact me or comment. Any comments from AMI or attempts at contact from them will be disregarded OR kept as further evidence in the event we decide to bring this to the BBB, respective regulatory agencies or file a civil suit.
