They are patient with any questions you might have and always accepting of some taste tests of their selections. They take pride in their products and actively help to sustain the bee population in the area and are supportive of environmental causes. There are so many varieties of honey they sell that I can't list them all, but some of my favorites are the Local Centralia/Chehalis Blend, WA Wildfire, WA Clover, WA Fireweed, and WA Blueberry. The teas, soaps, and incense that are stocked are also wonderful - with plenty of selections for everyone ... you can definitely find something you like. Yes, I did buy a steak that we cooked up and ate for lunch while playing backgammon. But what if I need something stronger? Yes they do have a great selection of beer and wine. Oh, nothing more adult? Hold on. There is a small but pretty awesome liquor selection as well. We may have bought a little much but aye, aye, aye, I'm on vacation because I love my occupation. I was amazed at how well this store was stocked and not with just junk food. The only thing we couldn't find was an air mattress. Not a worry, the store across the street did. The Pumpkin Patch is our annual go-to place for all things Fall!…read more We have been going here for about four years and the experience has been wonderful each year, and gets a wee bit better each time. When we first started going, the Patch was very simple ... they had a large pumpkin patch and little stand with other smaller pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, corn stalks, and the like. They also had fun wooden cutouts of famous kid movie characters to stick your head through and get pictures, along with a number of old-timey tractors for the kids to climb up onto. Each year they have added more, and this year it was full of kid-friendly activities. There is a small little playground with a slide and see-saw, a large tractor pulled hay rack ride, a faster four-wheeler pulled ride where you can sit in barrels like a train, a small corn maze, a straw pit for the kids to jump into, and a pumpkin cannon (the littles might need headphones for the loud boom). They have also added a little cafe stand with beverages and treats. Dollar for dollar, this is a great value for your money. Let's face it, everything is getting expensive nowadays, but your money is gonna go much farther here at Goodrich Rd. Pumpkin Patch than at other places. Plus, it's not overwhelmingly crowded and crazy-filled with near amusement park type attractions like some other more expensive patches. The owners and staff that work there are extremely friendly and 100% family-friendly. They know folks come here for fun and to be out with the family - they treat everyone like that and are helpful, kind, and caring. I highly recommend the Pumpkin Patch and as long as we're living in these parts, we will Always go there every October for our Fall needs!
