He came out on July 17, 2017 and provided a quote. The price was acceptable. Again I went through the calling routine and finally connected with Jeff the week of August 31st. He set a date of August 7, 2017 to come out and install my gutters. Jeff and his crew showed up on August 7, 2017 at 9:30 a..m. and I showed them where they could plug their machines into. Approximately 30 minutes later I went downstairs and noticed that their truck was gone and my garage was left open. I called Jeff at: * 10:23 a.m. and left a message * 12:06 p.m. and left a message *2:22 p.m. and left a message *4:01 p.m. and left a message At no time did Jeff EVER EVER EVER call me back. On August 8, 2017 I called Jeff at 8:13 a.m. and he answered. I asked him what happened yesterday. He said they left ! I asked him why he did not contact me. He said he rang the door bell -- My home office is less that 50 feet from my front door. He did not ! I asked him why he did not call ? He indicated that he did not have his phone. I then asked him if they were going to do the job. He said NO ! When I asked him why, he said that they found that the roof was too steep and could not do without a lift. I advised that this should NOT have been a surprise to him as he came out and gave the quote. I advised that I was going to leave him review on Yelp and FB. Jeff said "Go ahead i have a great reputation" I then terminated the call. This was a total waste of my time, effort and energy. If I would have known they did NOT follow through I would have found a different vendor. Customer beware and don't set the bar high for a professional business. Invest in a little more money and go with someone more dependable.

FAILED TO HONOR WARRANTY! I had some gutters replaced and one of the reasons I went with A-1 was…read moretheir website claim of "satisfaction guaranteed" (important note: not in writing). They also have written on their estimates: "Lifetime warranty on leaks/7 year labor/20-50 year manufacturers warranty." Their price to replace ~30 feet of gutters was reasonable and they were very friendly. After several years my gutters began to leak at the seams (disappointing but not too big of a deal) but then water began to overflow at one of the sections, creating a waterfall type effect during hard rain. I called naively thinking they would come out and fill the leaks and fix the overflow issue, but they were reluctant to do anything. They first said the leak was because they weren't cleaned regularly (they are 30 feet high with no trees above them), but when they came out to look at the waterflow issue, they stated that what was needed were wider gutters to replace the narrower ones they had initially installed. The cost to "fix" this was ~9x what I had originally paid. When I pointed out the absurdity of this "remedy" to my solution, they did not follow up (they had been calling weekly to let me know about their financing option). Looking back, they were never interested in fixing anything, just angling for more business. In fact, the person they sent out was not even a repairman but the guy that gives estimates. I now have to replace gutters that they replaced-the rest of my gutters are all fine. Incredibly disappointing.
