As promised, my car was ready to be picked up just a few hours after dropping it off and the work he did was fantastic. Most recently Timothy repaired damage on my mom's 2015 BMW Z4, including the passenger side rocker panel and front bumper area. The car came back looking absolutely brand new. The attention to detail, paint match, body lines, and finish quality were excellent. You honestly cannot tell the vehicle was ever damaged. Timothy clearly takes pride in his work and did the repair correctly instead of rushing through it. What impressed me even more was the professionalism. This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. My mom is 90 and still enjoys driving her BMW Z4, so let's just say it's good to have someone trustworthy like this in the Rolodex when life happens. Fair pricing, quality workmanship, convenience, and professionalism are getting harder to find these days. This was our second time using C.A.R.S., and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing bodywork or paint repair. Five stars well deserved.

I paid $850 in full. The problem returned the very next day. Over the following weeks, he repeatedly promised to return and fix it -- citing being "too busy," weather delays, and no-showing during a two-week window I gave him (Feb. 13-27). I later discovered the man who did the work was not Sean at all, but his father Sonny, who misrepresented himself as the owner. I was then offered a $250 partial refund on the condition that I not report the issue or leave a review -- a clear attempt to silence a legitimate complaint. I had bad experience with mechanic shops before, but this has been one of the worst! Imagine, I am a 64 years old Desert storm, Desert Shield and Iraqi Freedom veteran, and the manager I spoke with is also a veteran, and look at what I went through, my fellow veteran, we are our worst enemy. I can tell you my whole experience, but there is not enough room on this platform to do it, so I will give a brief synopsis. I first brought my vehicle into the shop (approximately the second week of June), for the check engine light. I was charged approximately $164.00 for a diagnostic, which confirm the code that I was getting about the engine misfiring. I didn't get it worked on that day, because they didn't have the parts. Approximately two weeks later I went back to get the work done. There are two reasons why I went back to that shop. One is, I assumed that they would apply (what I paid for the diagnostic), towards the repair cost, and the other reason is; I love supporting veteran own, or any business that deal with veterans. Anyhow, with the diagnostic, the repaired cost me over $3,000.00 just to change out 8 plugs and coils. Changing out the plugs and coils appeared to solved the problem, because the check engine light went off. On that day they were planning to also do a gas treatment (a can of gas treatment purred into the gas tank), for over $300.00. to avoid paying the $300.00 dollars, I went to the dealership the same day and bought a can of their gas treatment ($40.00 with tax), and pure it in the tank myself. Now here is where the story gets interesting. About three to four weeks later, the same thing happens again, the engine light came back on, with the same two codes. After going back to the shop (for the same issue), I was told that, in order for them to check it out, I would have to agree to pay another $164.00 diagnostic fee. After I agreed to pay the fee, they brought the truck into the shop (with the check engine light still on), to check it out. Approximately 30 to 40 minutes later, the manager (or who appeared to be the manager), came and told me that he was getting a misfire from one of the cylinders, but after clearing the code he couldn't find anything wrong with the truck. I told him that I was getting two codes instead on one, but he advised me that he was only getting one code. He continued by telling me he found a problem, and in the same sentence, told me that he couldn't find nothing wrong with the truck, I couldn't understand that! However, he advised me that because the job/parts were under warranty, he would change out the part that was responsible for the misfire. He also stated that he would also try a gas treatment after changing out the part. After he mention the gas treatment, I told him that I had added a can of gas treatment to the truck the very same day he did the repair. He then stated to me that the gas treatment I added was the cause of the problem. Remind you, I use the same cleaner the dealership used in my truck twice before, also it's been several weeks and several tanks of gas (I went through), leading up to that moment. Also, the whole time I was driving the truck (with the gas treatment in it), the check engine light has not came on once. Anyhow, he told me he was going to speak with his technician and get back to me. When he came back, he handed me back my keys and told me that the gas treatment was the problem. He didn't even bother to change out the part he found that was doing the misfiring, the part that I paid over $3,000.00 for, which was still under warranty. He told me that he wasn't planning to charge me. Are you freaking kidding me, charge me for what?! A job that he never did! He never worked on the truck, he never changed out the part he told me had the misfire, as a matter of fact, the minute I left the property and got out on the main road, the engine light came back on! If there are any veteran reading this post, beware!

I'm amending my previous review written October 19. The reason I'm taking the time to write this is to forewarn future customers to look elsewhere in choosing a dent specialist. I foolishly wrote the prior review on the afternoon after Mike was here. When I took off the tape the next day, two noticeable dents had not been fixed. When Mike saw them, he agreed and said he would repair them the next time he was here. Unfortunately, after setting dates multiple times, he didn't show up. What's worse is that he didn't bother notifying me that he had to cancel. It's bad enough he didn't show up but worse that he didn't call. He stated that he would be here yesterday or today and didn't follow up again. The bottom line is I paid him $1100 and there are still dents. Now, it's almost three months later, I wasted $1100, and the job wasn't completed. Totally inexcusable and, as I said at the beginning, future customers hire him at their own risk. I question how a person like Mike is considered one of the ten best. His performance detracts not only from Yelp but also the other dent repair companies listed by Yelp. I give one star only because I can't give zero. It's bad enough losing $1100 but being strung along for nearly three months is just as bad. I wish he had just told me upfront that he didn't plan to do the job rather than waste my time. Definitely disappointed! read more

Very Disappointed - Would Not Recommend I had a very poor experience with this mobile dent and scratch repair service. The quality of the work was extremely subpar. The paint was not properly blended, and the dent that was supposed to be filled is still clearly visible. I was told the clear coat just needed two weeks to fully cure and that everything would look perfect after that. That never happened. I was also assured there was a guarantee and that if any issues came up, I could call and it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, that promise has not been kept. Months have gone by, and despite multiple attempts to contact them, I've received either no response or vague excuses. The lack of accountability and the runaround I've received are incredibly frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again or recommend it to anyone. read more

Recently had a small fender bender and although it was something small, it really bothered me. So I called coastal, for a free estimate. Not only was it a hassle free and very convenient, they gave me a great price. Came out the next day. Made it look like new again. Yimmy's was pleasant to work with, provided regular updates and communication, and made my Tesla look like nothing ever happened to it. They even washed both the exterior and interior of the car before I picked it up. This was my first time dealing with a body shop, so I don't have much to compare to, but I've heard many horror stories from other shops. I was sure to look up reviews and Yelp led me to Yimmy's and did not disappoint!
