Yuck! Still, the pay lounge in SM Mall of Asia caught my fancy because of an added service. Apart from clean comfort rooms which one can use for a fee of PHP 10.00 per entry, the lounge also has a shower room that can be rented for PHP 100.00 per use. I was not prepared to shell out a hundred bucks just to satisfy my curiosity about the shower room, so I just paid ten pesos for the use of the comfort room. On my way out, I also chatted with the attendant. I asked her if I could take a peek at their shower room and she obliged. The room is big and has its own toilet. All the things you need for a nice shower are provided - towels, shampoo, soap and even cotton buds. Plus, you can use the facility for 30 minutes. As for the pay restroom, well it was huge and clean, with many urinals and cubicles. Lotion, hand sanitizer, and cotton buds are also available for use. Seniors are given 20% discount for the use of the restroom or shower room.

They are actually the only ones I trust with my daughter's clothes because they use mild laundry detergent that's really just for babies if you ask them to. Their dry cleaning service is just as good, I bought my fur vest to them (which was refused by other laundry shops because of how delicate it is) and they were able to clean it without a hitch. They've never lost any of my clothes and everything comes back clean, neatly folded and smelling really fresh. I am and will always be a loyal client.

But I decided to head for Mr. Kiwie to see if it could still be salvaged. Lo and behold, they fixed it good as new. Best of all, when I went to retrieve it, they actually gave it a shine. How's that for a little extra worth noting? I've also had office and house keys made because like everyone, I have a tendency to lose these little buggers. Incidentally, Mr. Kiwie is one of two chains that offer this type of necessary service. Their main competitor can be found in SM Bicutan, and there is a big price discrepancy. I guess the rent at the mall must be way higher than the little shop at Dona Soledad. But I'm sure there's no difference where service is concerned. Fact is, they have exactly the same equipment.

I have no idea what laundry soap they use to make the clothes that are laundered here smell this good. I just know they make it smell good and the smell stays on even while you're wearing the clothes. I wish I knew how to wash clothes like they do. Sometimes, when I'm too lazy to pick the clothes up, I just give them a call and they bring the clothes to my house. And when I'm extra lazy and can't take the clothes to them, they pick it up from the house. Laundry Post, stop spoiling me. I need to learn how to do my own laundry.
