During the inspection, the thermostat was set to 72 degrees, but the system was reading 66 degrees. The inspector stated that the unit appeared to be stuck in AC mode and advised that it was an ongoing issue, not something that would suddenly occur overnight. The sellers arranged for their HVAC company to come out, and their technician reported that there was nothing wrong with the system. Based on that information, we proceeded with closing. Two days after closing, we noticed the same issue again--the thermostat was set to 74 degrees, but the system was reading 68 degrees. We contacted the same HVAC company. When I called, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive. She stated that all technicians were busy and they would come out "whenever they could." I calmly explained that we were home all day and simply needed the system checked due to inaccurate readings. A technician arrived on February 2nd around 1:00 PM and immediately identified the problem: a valve was sticking in AC mode, causing inaccurate temperature readings. The total repair cost was $1,095. This confirmed exactly what our home inspector had originally found. The technician even stated that this was not a new issue and had developed over time. I called the company back to explain that their first technician missed the problem, despite it being clearly identified by both the inspector and their second technician. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the receptionist stated there was no supervisor available. I also addressed her rude behavior from the previous call. She dismissed my concerns, blamed the sellers, and refused to take any accountability--even though the sellers had done their part by hiring this company. When I informed her that this matter may need to be escalated to a lawyer for documentation purposes, I asked for her name. She responded defensively, stated she had worked there for 26 years, and said she "wasn't going anywhere." I clarified that I only needed her name for documentation. She then hung up on me and sent subsequent calls straight to voicemail. This company needs to seriously reevaluate who they place as the first point of contact for customers. The receptionist was unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve an issue that resulted from their own technician failing to properly diagnose the problem. We wanted to replace the ac, and they made the whole process fast and easy. They do offer a payment plan that is 72 months interest free, that goes through Wells Fargo. I think they said military discounts are offered on repairs. The warranty that came with the ac is really good. Google also has glowing reviews for this place. EEEEEK! Our upcoming move is fast approaching! We recently accepted an offer on our home in GA…read morewhich is exciting, but now the craziness begins. The inspector came to do her evaluation and buyer came back with their repair requests. One of the items was to service the HVAC unit and fix any issues found. Our realtor recommended Service Emperor (SE), so we gave them a call. - Evaluation - Wow, were they fast! After we got off the phone with our realtor in the am, she called them to make an appointment. They were available to come out later that afternoon to do the initial evaluation of the work that needed to be done. This company is pretty high tech! They sent me a text message from the technician, Josh, introducing himself, stating he was on his way and a link to his GPS location that indicated his ETA in live time with a pic of himself attached. You know who to expect, no surprises. Josh was great! He did a full evaluation, made the recommendations which he separated item by item. There were really pricey items for simple fixes like leveling the HVAC unit, but he suggested that if we wanted to go through the trouble, we could save the money and do it ourselves (like lifting the unit, shoveling gravel underneath and putting a leveler until it's level). We appreciated his advice and did just that for the minor issue, but agreed to get the big job done by them. Note that if you call them out to do an initial inspection, there is a fee, but if you agree to do the work they find that needs fixing, they'll waive the fee. Josh had an iPad with him, took pics of every detail and sent us a detailed evaluation with pics attached. - The Main Job - The repairs and full servicing of the unit was done the following week. Josh had come out on Friday. There was a bit of a miscommunication in scheduling the follow up appointment to get the big job done. Called their office on Monday and spoke to the Office Manager and she got us scheduled in a couple of hours. The start time of the appointment is a two hour window, but they showed up closer to the 2 hour mark. This time, Corey and Kenneth came out to do the job. Same as Josh, they sent a text in the same fashion, intro, name, link to GPS tracking and a pic of themselves. They arrived promptly and spent a few hours working on the unit. At the end, they drafted up the invoice, attached the pics and was emailed the invoice on the spot. No nonsense guys, very courteous, did the work efficiently, packed up and left! They also included in their report that they checked that the unit was level and included the pics to the report so we could provide that as proof to the buyers. - Notes - *Woman-owned and veteran-owned! *They provide a military discount, which is never expected but always appreciated! Thank you, SE! - COVID-19 Observations - They are taking serious precautions! First, they are masked up AND they put hospital booties over their work boots when entering our home and diligently took them off when exiting and putting them on again when entering. They had to do this quite a few times getting material in and out of the house. I'm sure that is annoying and I know they have to keep their work boots on for safety and liability, but the fact that they were so considerate to put them on warmed this Korean girl's heart with a strict no shoes policy in the home! (Josh did the same). *Clarification: I was a little confused with the Icebound gear on the techs in the photos, but it looks like the company rebranded to Service Emperor. Well, that's one big item off the repair request list, so thanks SE, for getting it done! The guys were top notch! One step closer to closing on this house and getting out of dodge... Savannah!

He was very thorough, checked our indoor unit and compressor ( he took off all the panels and vacuumed the debris from the bottom.). He also took photos of all the tests with their results and took the time to explain the results. He was cautious not to track dirt in from outside, Aaron is an asset to Galbreth & Son.

He apparently does contract work for Amazon, because Buzz Electric came up when I purchased the new light fixtures. Aaron quoted me his rates up front, and set a prompt appointment. He was a little delayed on the day of work by an earlier job, but he kept me updated on his ETA. He showed up, surveyed the situation, and went to work. He sorted things out and got the two patio fixtures and new box in place, followed by a few other things around the house that we needed done. He worked non-stop and independently.
