We had them diagnose and replace our AC. We had a feeling it would need to be replaced, as it always kept our house around 86 during the hot summers. Though the man who diagnosed it recommended replacing, he did offer a temporary solution if that's the route we wanted to take, which would be replacing the compressor. We wanted to replace the ac, and they made the whole process fast and easy. They do offer a payment plan that is 72 months interest free, that goes through Wells Fargo. I think they said military discounts are offered on repairs. The warranty that came with the ac is really good. Google also has glowing reviews for this place. We are completely satisfied with our experience, and everyone we met was so nice! read more

I called Georgia Air Specialists from the hwy a few states away. They were courteous, took down all my information and met my family to correct an A.C. Issue. They were prompt, and knowledgeable, and upfront with their fair pricing. To add to their customer service, they called back a couple hours later to check on the system and to ensure our family was taken care of. I could not have asked for a more professional and friendly experience, all while driving down the hwy, I highly recommend this company. I will certainly think of them first if I need any further HVAC work. read more

HIRE SOMEONE ELSE…read more I had a technician from Gibson/Lovell come out for a basic service, and it was one of the most unprofessional encounters I've had with any home service provider. The technician was unpleasant and aggressive. To make matters worse, they quoted us an extremely inflated price for the service (more than double what we ultimately paid another reputable company to complete the exact same job). That alone raises serious concerns about price gouging or outright scamming. When I contacted the company to address the technician's behavior and the charge, they brushed it off as a "misunderstanding," which felt like a way to discredit our very real and unacceptable experience. I paid their $100 fee just to close the door on this awful interaction, but I wouldn't trust them in my home again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Avoid at all costs. There are better, more honest companies out there.

We called this company to come out to assess a resident's AC problem and give us an estimate to…read morerepair the issue. They gave us an initial quote that was $858 after the $109 diagnostic fee for a simple repair to replace a fan motor. The cost of the fan motor is about $90 and the labor to install it should take less than an hour. We were in the process of getting other estimates to find another, more affordable vendor, but this company just came back out without authorization and did the work. Then they invoiced us for over $1200 saying that they also replaced the thermostat. The system didn't need a thermostat as it was replaced just a week prior and was brand new. Then they took our new thermostat with them. When we told them they performed this work without approval or authorization, they essentially said that is too bad and you have to pay the bill. I asked for proof that they had authorization to proceed with repairs and they sent an invoice with a squiggly mark (see photo). We were trying to dispute this and see what we can do to get something worked out or come to a resonable agreement about what to do because they did do work, but we would have never agreed to their pricing. The owner just decides that he is going to file a mechanic's lien on the property and does nothing to try to make up for the issue forcing us to pay because our lender would have had a realy issue with a lien. Now we are probably going to take them to small claims court to get restitution. Beware of these guys.

I had to call a specialty plumber that does ultrasonic testing to find a slow leak, opened only one hole, and took 30 minutes to repair. Stafford left me 5 holes to patch at a cost of $200 for nothing. Never again.

I must say I was pretty incredulous to see all the high ratings for Georgia Air Specialists, but after working with them, I see they are totally deserved! They were extremely professional and considerate throughout our business, which if you're used to the typical lackluster experience with most service industries in Savannah, you will be very pleased! My past experience is characterized by less professional companies sending a different technician every time, year after year, always of dubious character and knowledge. With Georgia Air Specialists, I especially liked how courteous they were by taking their shoes off, or wearing booties over their shoes by default, just as a matter of course. Not that I have pristine floors, but it certainly puts their customer focus in perspective. I also appreciated their honest, straight, and no BS approach to doing business. Plus, I thought their prices were very competitive. I will definitely be calling them again next time I have an HVAC need, and will probably sign up for a recurring maintenance plan. read more

Super professional team installed a new HVAC unit in record time. They covered my floors and cleaned up everything-almost to where I didn't even know they were there. I was able to choose from several different efficiency options and even upgrade to a thermostat that connects to Echo/Alexa. Both sales and service sides were extremely easy to work with. Their pricing and packages were competitive and I couldn't be more pleased. I priced several different local companies and Georgia Air Specialists really offered the entire package that I was needing. I replace an older AC unit with American Standard that was highly rated by Consumer Reports. Their quote was very good & they were very knowledgeable about the units they offered. The install went flawlessly. They explained the unit & air handler like someone showing off a new car. They seemed genuinely excited about showing it. They followed up with a call & a visit to make sure the unit was working properly. I have had them back for routine service & they were very thorough. Great support! We signed up last season as a preferred customer and this past weekend we had need of support on very short notice (AC system failed at same time a family member came down with the flu). The Georgia Air team was there on short notice (bringing window units should the repair need parts or extensive work) and quickly went to work. Within 90 minutes we were back in the cool. (Unfortunately, we still had to deal with the flu.) If they could fix that, I would triple the score!). Thanks Steven! read more

Charges your card with unauthorized transactions. Blocked me from calling their business line said I cannot be a customer but yet still charges my card for membership. My fiance was supposed to pay for $780 repair with his money I'm out of work due to pandemic and they over drafted my account stole my kids college funds money. The ac broke the same night he came and did $780 repair. There not a company with BBB they need shut down for non profesionalism. read more
