This company came to the rescue and really saved us. We purchased a TRANE XV20i from Old Coast Heating and Air Conditioning in 2018. The system is now 8 years old. The service we were receiving from Old Coast was overpriced, they sold us marked up parts, to include a replacement lightbulb for our RGF REME HALO-LED Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier and would always upsell me during regular maintenance visits with adequate at best service. Additionally, we know now the $27,000 system purchased from them was not installed properly either. *********************BUT NOW???**************************** We switched to Savannah Air Factory after all our neighbors recommended them. They are now our maintenance company and our go to for all our HVAC needs! This company, undoubtedly, has better prices, service, and competency. They have an emergency number and a technician on call after hours (912) 944-8226. James was on call and he came out to fix the system temporarily so we could make it through the weekend until it could be fixed. Monday morning, I phoned their number (912) 665-6898 and spoke with Kaitlin. I explained our issue and that the system was down and she sent out Darren right away. Darren identified the problem, came up with the solution, and contacted TRANE Technical Support to verify it was the correct resolution. He accurately diagnosed a complex set of issues, including a failed evaporator coil, a refrigerant leak, step motor improperly seated, and sensors not set properly. Now, the system is running perfect, the way it was designed! Despite the extensive repairs needed, they handled the emergency seamlessly. They secured all the necessary parts immediately under warranty at no cost, offered transparent pricing for labor with no hidden fees, and replaced everything with absolute precision. Darren is a consummate professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They repaired the leak with a new coil, charged the refrigerant, and got our system running perfectly. Within no time, our home was ice-cold and comfortable again. Their emergency service is fast, honest, and high-quality. In December, while we were in the process of purchasing our home, an inspector noted an issue with…read morethe downstairs HVAC system. During the inspection, the thermostat was set to 72 degrees, but the system was reading 66 degrees. The inspector stated that the unit appeared to be stuck in AC mode and advised that it was an ongoing issue, not something that would suddenly occur overnight. The sellers arranged for their HVAC company to come out, and their technician reported that there was nothing wrong with the system. Based on that information, we proceeded with closing. Two days after closing, we noticed the same issue again--the thermostat was set to 74 degrees, but the system was reading 68 degrees. We contacted the same HVAC company. When I called, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive. She stated that all technicians were busy and they would come out "whenever they could." I calmly explained that we were home all day and simply needed the system checked due to inaccurate readings. A technician arrived on February 2nd around 1:00 PM and immediately identified the problem: a valve was sticking in AC mode, causing inaccurate temperature readings. The total repair cost was $1,095. This confirmed exactly what our home inspector had originally found. The technician even stated that this was not a new issue and had developed over time. I called the company back to explain that their first technician missed the problem, despite it being clearly identified by both the inspector and their second technician. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the receptionist stated there was no supervisor available. I also addressed her rude behavior from the previous call. She dismissed my concerns, blamed the sellers, and refused to take any accountability--even though the sellers had done their part by hiring this company. When I informed her that this matter may need to be escalated to a lawyer for documentation purposes, I asked for her name. She responded defensively, stated she had worked there for 26 years, and said she "wasn't going anywhere." I clarified that I only needed her name for documentation. She then hung up on me and sent subsequent calls straight to voicemail. This company needs to seriously reevaluate who they place as the first point of contact for customers. The receptionist was unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve an issue that resulted from their own technician failing to properly diagnose the problem. Poor customer service like this reflects badly on the entire company

The circuit board had to be replaced to make it run so it took a little while to come in. As soon as the parts arrived they were installed. No one has service as good as Witts.
