My PPO insurance was charged for 11 visits and hospice staff only provided 5 visits. If that was not enough to double visit charge, 6 months later received notice that this entity also filed with Medicare for the same 11 visit time frame and paid. 5 visits pay out for a total of 22. I am in the processes of filing fraud charges via both insurance entities although, it has taken hours away from the loved one I would rather spend the time with. My family member was in the last stage of Pancreatic Cancer. Upon his discharge in July 2018, from Memorial Hermann Hospital, he was referred to Coastal Staff Relief. The Coastal Staff Relief nurse did not show up for 2 days nor did she call. Neither the nurse (Talia) or the Director of Nursing (Donna), returned any of our phone calls and several attempts were made. My family sent an email to the Director of Nursing and she never responded back to our request. As a result of that, we notified Texan Plus, to inform them that they were paying Coastal for services that were not rendered. Afterward, my family discontinued the Coastal Staff Relief services for our family member. A complaint was filed with the Texas Department of State Health Services. The complaint allegations were substantiated the Agency was cited in October 2018. Within any organization, "COMMUNICATION" is VITAL and Coastal Staff Relief lacks that component immensely. They are only interested in generating revenue, instead of efficient patient care for individuals who really need it. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I REPEAT!! DO NOT! They are absolute trash! I am a cancer patient at one of the top hospital systems in the country (MDAnderson) and unfortunately, my insurance only would cover home health services from CSR, Inc. My medical team didn't think that I would need the home health for wound care, but I was nervous and decided to have my case manager contact them to set up services. And then, something said- check their Yelp reviews. And lo and behold the comments are TRUE! In my case, I requested wound care and my nurse didn't even contact me when she said she would to set up an appointment. I was told by an associate named Jeremy (who go figure no longer works with the company that I would be contacted within 48hrs) never happened. So, I decided to to cancel services- Jeremy tried to keep me on the line and transfer me to the 'nursing supervisor' Donna? Whom if you do a quick search of the reviews happens to be the owner. She said that they would work it out and remove the authorization hold on my card. Ha! Never happened. I called back weekly and was told someone would get in touch. And nothing. Shady as hell. I FINALLY was issued a refund this week after talking to the classless, rude, disrespectful "office supervisor" named Erica who told me on the phone that "do I want to come get my $?" Literally, come to their office and get my money and that "she didn't care if I got my $ back or not."Don't do it! I'm telling you/ Jeremy was so quick to ask for my card information and this was WItHOUT a call back from another associate etc explain their process to me during nurse visits. Don't do it! this ordeal started on wed 2/10 and here we are towards the end of March. They make their $ by being shady AF. I can only imagine the lack of nursing care. 2/24/18 Hospital recommended this agency. Made an weekend appointment. Talked to office concerning financial matters. When the nurse came out serveral hours late. RUDE unprofessional. Mention to us that she had others patient she has to see if I could not provided her with information that she requested. I told her that this patient waited on you all morning, And now, you are saying you have other patients that you have to see today. WOW... One of the most unprofessional group of health care providers. They do not communicate with patients/family within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, I had to use them, since they were the only agency the insurance company would approved for the services needed. Staff members are unprofessional, and rude talking to them on the phone. One in particular, in the office, some type of supervisor, really rude, telling me what I can/can't do. Office Manager, comes in late!, everyday! This agency would be a great candidate for a FBI Audit! read more
