My child has been crying every day of the new school year, emotionally distraught and has lost all confidence that had finally been gained. The leadership and board doesn't really care about the students just about the money and the mask they show the community. Unfortunately the reviews don't always tell about the people they kick to the curb.

Four kids in gives us some perspective, and starting with academic rigor, to community service opportunities, with extra-curricular options galore, KMHS is an incredible experience. The Magnet program is a shining star for STEM prep, consistently producing students who succeed and excel at top universities. The Magnet crew is stellar all-around, and our kids made long-term quality friendships lasting beyond high school. We've had our runs but never been an athletic powerhouse, partly due to being the smallest 7A school by far in the state (moving to 6A in '20). Despite that Mustangs have frequented state tourneys/meets, and enjoyed great developmental coaches. From personal experience, the swim coach is the best in the state. They make examples out of children who make mistakes while taking no accountability themselves. A majority of teachers hired are personal friends or friends of friends, regardless of qualification. Teachers children/ children whose parents donate are favored and it's very apparent, speaking from experience. If your child does not fit their mold, they will be treated as they as lesser than. I graduated with my faith hanging on by a thread. There are a very small handful of teachers there who I think stay to try to make a difference. I owe them everything.

I used to be a student at this school and what can I say, many reasons on why I left this school…read more They say "they care about bullying and will not be tolerated." but really they don't, they don't do shit for anyone who's being bullied. Someone I used to know was bullied lots, and parents had to call administrators over and over, and they would never do anything, even though they said they would "take care of it." They could use some more cleaning, I got terribly sick almost every month due to their lack of cleaning. Often saw cockroaches crawling behind the bathrooms signs, and there would be cockroaches crawling all over the walls. Teachers were Ok. Bathrooms were pretty trashed, like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Clubs were fun. In conclusion, I wish I would've left sooner Sorry if this seems harsh, but it's my honest review.
