It was a bit chaotic getting out of my car, not really knowing where to go, then after paying there wasn't very clear signage (probably due to construction) so I had to ask a starter how to get to the south course - of course I just needed to walk south from the pro shop! It did not help that I was there in mid-January before 8 AM and it was 45 degrees out - I was not in a mood for trying to search for the first tee. For winter golf, conditions were pretty great! The greens were smooth, they obviously have been taking good care of them. The fairways weren't in as good of shape, but they were certainly playable aside from the odd bald area. Rate of play was breezy, probably because there weren't that many idiots who wanted to come out in the 20-30 mph wind gusts... but still, beautiful course, lots of nice trees, scenic water features, and a stunning #18 green.

The practice area is what hurts this course. The putting green is good. the chipping green turf is used to repair the greens. The driving range is flat out horrible. The range balls are so old they have become smooth. The hitting area is not maintained at all. I am very disappointed with the course. it used to be my go to.

It's build on a small plot of land in the middle of a small commercial area in Moore, Ok. It's not spread out. Honestly there are few areas on the course where you're safe from errant shots. That being said, unless your playing during a draught, the course is generally in good shape. A little better than you'll find at a local city course (Lincoln, earlywine, etc...) It favors long hitters over accurate drivers and people with strong short games rather than people with great ball striking ability. This helps level the playing field quite a bit. The greens are what make the course unique. They are big, challenging, usually quick, and always in great shape. I play a lot of courses a round here and MGAC had better greens than all of them. They have great events for members and typically encourage member only play unless there is a special guest event happening. It's also a great place to have personal events, with nice pools and a brand new tennis court. The clubhouse features a decent grill and suitable workout facility, mostly machines but a small free weight collection is also available. If you're looking for a local, affordable course to join then look no further

Well, free in the sense that you don't have to pay to actually enter the course. You do have to bring your own discs. B) Your outdoors BYOB (B- beverage not booze) :P BYOG (G- grub) etc etc. Warning- There aren't many trees for shade. You are surrounded by a apartment complexes. Sidewalks provide pathways for walkers so they can and will get in the way. Just be careful!
